Pub fights led to big drug bust

[SIZE=-1]INVESTIGATIONS into a sudden increase in glass attacks and violent assaults in pubs have ended up busting two major drug syndicates in Sydney's south-west.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Police in Campbelltown were confronted with 30 to 40 serious assaults in two months last year. Victims needed serious hospital treatment for head trauma, Superintendent Stuart Smith said.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Officers spoke to the offenders and victims and found a common thread - not only had they been drinking but they had also taken drugs they had bought from local dealers.[/SIZE]
