What am I missing here? Why is it significant that certain drugs inhibit the P450 system? Unless I'm mistaken, the P450 system releases enzymes that help sweep meds from building up in the liver. Is that what we're talking about here? Any other significant impacts on health?

The P450 system metabolizes E2. When the P450 system slows down, E2 goes up.
