Dry eyes in DNP

Hej folks,

I can't seem to find any info in that. I looked through several forums and Google it in many ways, but no info regarding this.

I have extremely dry eyes on my DNP cycle. I'm not really able to wear my contact lenses and whenever I close my eyes for longer, I can feel how dry they are.

Anyone experiences the same? I hope it goes away in the next days :/

Put down the dnp unless you have supervision from someone with experience using dnp. On the job training is not a good idea with a dangerous drug.

Monitor it closely. May be something to do with a histamine reaction. Claritin and benadryl may help.

Don't hold your breath on it resolving it's self though. Pretty much every side effect from the shit seems to have a cumulative effect as it builds. Nothing really gets better with it until you're done. . .

I would look out, although its mainly attributed to women it can cause cataracts. Probably unrelated but if anything started getting funky with my eyes on DNP my hypochondriac mind would instantly jump to that...

Yes of course. Am taking everything I can, Ie. But e+c, pyravate, NAC, etc.. I did my homework when it comes to DNP.
But no where I read anything like this.

Maybe it's due to dehydration that my body is unable to produce enough tear fluid? Even though I am drinking plenty...
I really don't know and wanted to see if anyone ever heard or saw something like this on DNP because no matter where I looked, no ones ever reported anything like that

One of the most worrisome problems with DNP use, although many of its adverse effects are well established others are not, and probably occur on an more individualized basis.

This may or may not apply to your particular situation, however excluding the dermal "corrosive effects" of DNP, contact lens wearers are predisposed to ocular infections from conjunctivitis to orbital cellulitis, and DNP MAY suppress ones immunity thru any number of mechanisms, I would STRONGLY suggest you obtain a FORMAL EVALUATION on behalf of a PHYSICIAN ASAP!

SUGGESTIONS

- SEE A PHYSICIAN ASAP

- Discard any open contact lens packets

- wash out your eyes THOROUGHLY

- cease the use of CLs until symptoms resolve

- locate some other means of weight reduction

FINALLY if you believe my suggestions are "extreme", keep your eyes closed for TEN MINUTES as a reminder of the worst case scenario!

Went to an eye specialist today. She didn't see any signs of cataracts or any formed damage.
They are dry but probably due to dehydration? (Even though I really drank plenty of water together with electrolytes)
Anyway, it's my second day off from DNP and lets see how it develops in the next days
