dumbell deadlifts

Instead of doing deadlifts and squats. for the past 2 weeks ive been doing dumbell squats. Or you could call them dumbell deadlifts.

But I go down, and touch my butt to a bench. just so I know how far I go down. i seem to be making very good progress. Im doing squats 3times a week. 5x5. And at the moment I am using 115 lb dumbells. But I am going to have to go back to the bar. b/c my gym goes from 115 to 125 and then to 150. sooo we will see.


Tell me what you guys think of Dumbell squats/or u can call them dumbell deadlifts I guess..

even though its not a deadlift.
 
Why do you keep trying to complicate things? Get under the bar and squat! Furthermore, unless you're 7' tall, squatting to the level of a bench is too high. Hamstrings touching calves. Now get to it!
