Hello everyone

I’ve been experiencing some side effects recently: noticeably lower libido and increased irritability. All other blood markers came back normal. Estradiol is elevated, while prolactin is perfectly within range.

Lab results:
- Total Testosterone (Gen. 2 assay): >52.0
- Free Testosterone (serum): 53.8 ng/L
- SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin): 25.4 nmol/L
- Estradiol (E2, Gen. 3 assay): 87.3 pg/mL
- Prolactin Gen. 2 (SE) 11.9 µg/l

Because of the elevated estradiol, I was considering whether using an aromatase inhibitor could be appropriate to address the symptoms. I would appreciate opinions or similar experiences.

My personal experience is that, unless I have really bad sides from E2 I wouldn't lower it. Now if it is 5x the upper range, I would address it in that case

you have sides -> use ai to lower it and reduce sides

as for what "are sides", for some people its gyno only. for me its oily skin, water retention, weird stuff with libido, sensation, mood etc. gyno is the last one

from personal experience, anything above 60pg/ml for me is too much. i would start with aromasin, not sure which one you have.
