Eating nuts while on diet

I've been trying to lose that little bit of fat that covers my lower abs for the last few months, and have been eating:

low sodium tuna w/ fat free mayo and light wheat bread
oatmeal
light yogurt
whey protein
vegetables
occassional grilled food: chicken, fish, pork chops

I don't write down what I eat or anything, but it is definitely not much. To put it this way, I have gone from 5'10" 235 to 195 in about 3 months. Granted, I was big and bloated at 235 so the first 20 lbs or so were easy to lose, but this last little bit of fat is killing me. Even DNP never got rid of all of it (don't use AAS anymore, BTW).

I recently started eating some mixed nuts with the hope that maybe I just wasn't getting enough "good" fats, but I am well-versed in training not nutrition (esp. for fat loss!) so does anyone have any pointers here? I also do a treadmill interval 3x per week for 30 minutes (30s at 8-12mph, 1 min walk).

Any help WRT my diet or cardio would be appreciated.

You might think abou throwing this up at total elite, too. Susan knows a few things about nutrition, even if she is a carbophobe.

For starters, I really do think it's a good idea to write down what you eat. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to measure, weigh, write down, etc. everything, but those 5 minutes a day can be the difference between reaching your goals and not reaching them.

Have you tried ECA? Maybe you just need a little push to get over the 3 month hump. Maybe even low dose T3.

Personally, I think you would be better off doing your cardio without the treadmill. Do you have access to a track? I think that is much better for HIIT training than the treadmill. Or run a hill/stadium or do intervals with a jump rope. I really, really hate cardio equipment and I think they provide less of a benefit than the "real" thing.

Why are all of the nutrition experts I have access to "carbophobes". I do subscribe to the dial in your macro's, and calories. Then add carbs to gain, and subtract to lose. Granted, for my body type that won't get you ripped. But I HATE low carb (no carb, ketogenic) diets. I had frozen custard after dinner. (forgive me father, I have sinned.) :D

Just throwin that in.

adding another day or 2 of cardio couldn't hurt if you're attempting to lose fat. this would especially help to boost your metabolism right at the start of your day if you're doing the cardio on an empty stomach.
