Eggs...

Well I can't afford that either, but with my eggs, I scramble them, add a few dashes of Chipolet tabasco hot sauce, Fresh black pepper, little dried garlic. then cook them up. I don't do eggs every day, don't have the time, usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, with PB, and bananna, with protein shake.

Just gotta mix it up bro, I make different omelets to break up the boredum. Peppers and Onions with hot sauce is one of my favorites. Chicken Sausage, sometimes broccoli and cheese, left over chicken breast and onions, turkey chili. I take whatever leftovers I have, chope em up and throw them in there.

If that doesn't work, just throw some egg whites in a shake and suck it down.

Also...when my blender worked, I'd take 5 eggs blend it with 3/4cup of oatmeal, banana, little splenda, then cook it like you would pancakes. Then I"d put butter and maybe a little honey or maple syrup on top......but I usually leave the sugars off

But Lizard King is right, just mix it up, you pretty much can do anything with eggs.

I'll chop up those Turkey breakfast patties and scramble them with eggs and cheese.

sautee mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, cubed ham and corn..then add your eggs ..when eggs are almost done add low fat shredded mex cheese. Then serve on wheat low carb tortilla:D Either that or put egg whites in the blender with your protien shake.

Eggs are available year round to provide not only delicious meals on their own but as an essential ingredient for the many baked goods and sauces that would never be the same without them.

Composed of a yellow yolk and translucent white surrounded by a protective shell, the incredible nature of the egg is partially found in their unique food chemistry which allows them help in coagulation, foaming, emulsification and browning.

:D the preceding message is brought to u by The National Egg Council...

to the OP: i used to eat eggs every morning,,,and years back i ate them for dinner, and have tried many recipes with them. i know what it's like to be completely sick of them. also, too much of them will chane ur face n give u those little white spots under ur pores on the skin under ur eyes...those r solid cholesterol deposits bcuz ur body just cant make use of the LDL overload.

the problem is they're a very inexpensive source of complete proteins, but u can match that by mixing certain grains n legumes. there's a healthfood store brand called "Food For Life, Ezekiel 4:9" which mimics a Biblical recipe combining wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt...some places sell quinoa grain pretty cheap (shop around), and the Hindu staple vegetarian dish called Daal (potatoes n lentils with curry) r all inexpensive ways to get healthy carbs n fiber along with complete proteins...especially if u drink a nice tall glass of skim milk with it. AFAIK, potatoes r very hi in Lysine, which is the essential amino acid most plant proteins (like beans) are deficient in, so combining taters with legumes is a good way to complete an amino acid profile, with the fiber in the legumes tempering the insulin spike from the taters. u can make a big pot of daal and/or some veggie chili, put it in single serving size tupperware n freeze that shit. one bowl in the microwave every morning...ta da.

another tac is to get good whey powder in bulk (i find ON Gold Standard whey a bargain at 5 n 10 pound sizes on sale at GNC or Vitamin Shoppe, n i buy enuff to last me till the next sale). with that, u can always ensure u get good whole protein, and adding fiber, carbs n healthy fats to that isn't difficult. in terms of nutrients gram per gram, ur costs won't be much higher, ur cholesterol may be lower (tho eggs yolks do have all that phosphatidyl choline) and u'll be free of the yolk of bondage.

eggs taste much better to me now that i'm not stuck with them...;)

An egg is a spheroid or ovoid shaped cell laid by females of many different species, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Eggs have been eaten by mankind for millennia. Bird eggs (including chicken and turkey eggs) consist of a protective eggshell, albumen (egg white), and vitellus (egg yolk), contained within various thin membranes. Every part of an egg is edible,[citation needed] although the eggshell is generally discarded.

Eggs promote healthy hair and nails because of their high sulphur content and wide array of vitamins and minerals. Many people find their hair growing faster after adding eggs to their diet, especially if they were previously deficient in foods containing sulphur or B12.
