4.8 fasting BG on metformine ?
What’s you fasting BG no Met ?
On blood tests with the rest of my panel it's usually 4.8.

On HGH without Metformin it gets to 5.9/6.1.

I just started HGH after starting Metformin a week ago. This morning on Metformin and no HGH it was 4.7 fasted.

If forgot to add I dropped Tirzepatide two weeks ago as well. So no glp1 at the moment. I think Metformin takes a few weeks to kick in.
 
-6 is good. I would stay on hGH and not stop because of a bit higher BG. 1000mg Met is a bit high on just low dose hGH you use. How high would you use hGH in your plan ?

With this HGH at 2iu my igf1 gets out of range. So honestly 2iu is probably my maximum.

I don't really like the idea of even being slightly insulin resistant. If I were to crank anything up it would be the testosterone dose.

I know the 6 mmol is like transient insulin resistance but all that sugar floating around seems counterproductive.

I'm not really an HGH fan to be honest lol
 
Starting the following this week:

Sun/Tue/Thu/Sat: 12.5mg aromasin
Mon/Wed/Fri: 5mg rosuvastatin, 10mg ezetimibe & 10mg Cialis

Daily: 2iu HGH, 1000mg Metformin SR, 10mg tren ace (lowered it again), 10mg clinlidipine, 80mg telmisartan, 45mg Mirtazapine and 125mg Sertraline

Weekly: 1000mg testosterone enanthate

It's really weird. My heart has never felt so good. I'm tolerating exercise well and higher heart rates aren't triggering PVCs like they used to. Maybe it was nandrolone related or maybe it was anxiety? Who knows but I've been off a betablocker for the longest time I can recall.

Sleep is still good. Blood pressure is 127/65. I've lowered the tren again. Hopefully that helps.

Got a few more weeks on the cycle. I've already achieved most of my strength goals.

Did 57.5kgx3 lying triceps over head extension today and paused bench 100kgx3x5.

I've started to do power cleans to help with trap development (90kgx3 top set) and wide grip pendlay rows to help with my rear delts.

Mainly gained fat this cycle it seems. But I learned some stuff.

Another two weeks left. Did 90kg OHP x4,x4 and x3 today. This is the most volume at this weight I've ever done.

Hopefully I can get my rows up to 105kg by the end of the cycle (Jan 11).

Standing overhead press. First 4 were strict starting with the bar from the chest. Last sets were below the chin (less strain on my elbows).

I don't bend my knees or use any kind of bumping to get it up.

idc what anyone says, that is an absolutely bonkers lift. maybe not in the context of a gear forum, idk,

but thats legitimately impressive to me. strict to boot. and with recent lower back issues to boot? crazy.

have you been focusing on ohp for a while or just this most recent iteration of your ppl?

Thanks mate. I guess it's quite heavy.

I started doing Starting Strength in June 2023. My OHP was 47.5kg for 3 sets of 5.

I had lower back issues with lateral spine shift making me unable to walk due to back spasms. This would make be bed ridden for 7 days and I'd be abusing Voltaren to get the swelling down. I lived with very bad pain for a long time.

To build up my lower back strength I did bird dogs and core exercises every day for a very long time. Then I got my hypogonadism diagnosis and cut my bodyfat down and did a few steroid cycles. But most of my strength was built with almost no testosterone in my system. Like 4.7nmol and I got my ohp to 90kg.

As for my back it's pretty bullet proof now. I can do 100kg pendlay rows and the OHP causes no back issues. My abs are quite thick and my lower back is pretty strong.

I've added back extensions in now after purchasing a machine for it.
You train like a PL ?
I used to do the starting strength novice LP. Now I just do a weird push pull legs.
Push is OHP /Bench, Pull is bent over rows and power clean and legs is leg press to failure (like 3 plates 50+ reps).

When I feel strong I go heavy and do 3 sets of 3 or 5. When I feel weak I just do a volume day like sets of 8 and above.
