We are suppose to go to Vegas in January! I can't hardly wait! Not much for gambling, but we love to go see the lights, sights, & crazy people! I've never been anywhere off the general US like having to cross water to get there so to speak. I'd love to go to Atlantis though! Especially now that everyone is getting on here talking about how awesome it is! I've always wanted to go to the Hawaiian Islands too!

Unless you have money to spend on gambling Vegas is a town you can do without. Everything to me reminded me of a hurried airport thats including all the things to do. Half of being out there is gambling. If you don't go out there to gamgle there are better places to go. Like Universal Studios if you want to be entertained. They have a lot going down around those places.

that's like saying you cant have fun at atlantic city unless you gamble. I live on the east coast and go to AC all the time and I love going there, between my brothers who fight in MMA at the Tropicana or other hotels on the strip, the other shows, the bars and night life you do not need to gamble to have a good time in places like that at all. gambling is an added perk but that's not what the whole vacation to vegas is about. I also like how your trying to befriend people here after you talked shit and called everyone extortionists here even starting a thread to get rid of respectable members. did you have an epiphany and realized all the shit you said was ridiculous and are now trying to suck up to these people so you don't look so bad? [:o)] [:o)]

No kid I called you out on your bullshit because its clear what you did was extortion. The products I received are good LOL TOO BAD FOR YOU! I was joining in on the conversation. Its a fucking message board. I bet you wish it was high school though BIG MAN!

My wife & I go to Vegas to have a little grown up getaway. We leave our kids w the grandparents. There's a lot to do in Vegas w/o gambling. Vegas is becoming more an more a tourist attraction that is more family oriented rather than how it used to be as Sin City. All the hotels & casinos are trying to add things to attract a different group of people. They are working on the World's Largest Ferris Wheel out there now. I've also heard talks about I think it was MGM maybe gonna put a huge go cart race track outdoors. We've been prob 4-5 times, & we have never gambled...not even had the time. Lots of fun stuff to do there besides give away your hard earned money for that feeling like someone kicked you in the cods! Lol

I can't deny it isn't a good time there are much more laid back places to go though. Maybe its the Vegas strip that does it to me. Vegas has great food though. I went to plenty of the buffets. I did quite a bit of gambling too. Was lucky enough to break even. I would rather spend my time at nice resort instead of being out on the town.

I understand...to each his own. We enjoy going other places too. We've taken the family down to Orlando. It's a lot of fun! The kids really enjoy it. There are tons of places we want to go...Hawaiian Islands, Jamaica, Cozumel, etc...we haven't been able to go to exotic places. But, I sure hope we can once we get the kids up a little older. I love hearing about all the different places everyone is talking about!

Ironman,
Some of those big tourist areas like cozumel and hawaii are overrated and expensive. I say check out costa rica. It is beautiful inexpensive and the people are really friendly. Plus traveling there won't break the bank. Or try a cruise

Thanks brother, I appreciate the advice! We've talked about a cruise before also, but we've never done anything like that before an don't know the first thing about one. I've heard people talk about one that stops at several places like Jamaica & stuff. That would be cool!

You've never been on a cruise?!? WTF bro! Lol. Take a longer one if you can. 5-7 day cruises are the best. Ones shorter than that are just too short to really get to relax. Jamaica is awesome btw. You have to do dunns river falls if you ever go. You climb up a waterfall and then pick the option to hit the all you can drink beach afterwards. They're on a mission to get you tanked to pay out bigger tips. A CRUISE IS A MUST DO!

Sounds like fun to me! Ya my wife & I have always wanted to go on a cruise. Hopefully, one day I can make it happen.

Bro go on A virgin islands cruise. I went on one years back and we hit a bunch of the islands it was so beautiful and a great place to take the gf/wife. What mimmik said is 100% true it has to be atleast a 5 to 7 if not a 10 day cruise. Its really nice to sleep on a ship in the open water for a week its so relaxing

Alright, y'all have me all anxious now. I'm gonna have to start planning something! Lol

If you go on a cruise make sure its atleast a week long. Any less than that and all you did was stay at a hotel your going to feel like. You need a few nights and morning looking over the water and about 20lbs of food from the buffet in you.

I concur with this. Wait, did I just agree with 007? :)Also, do not go on cycle. I did and it was a mistake.
