ephedrine and drug testing at work

just a bit paranoid,im getting a medical which includes a drug test next week,2 weeks ago i took a tab of 30mg of ephedrine.i know that it has a short half life,should it all be out my system by next week?

You must be joking....
Ephedrine stays in your system for 30 years and if you get caught you will go to jail for life.

No, that's only in Montana & Kansas. It's only ten years in most other places (except Texas of course & they execute).

yeah you should be okay for sure, but you are right to be worried in that ephederine shows up as speed on drug tests as this just happened to one of my friends. He explained the situation and it worked out but he was baffled for a bit.
