EPO Gains

I am a lifelong endurance athlete (running, triathlon and bike racing). I tried my first cycle of EPO. Diving into the world of endurance gains and blood doping I was under the impression that taking that drug you would see serious noticeable gains in performance. A lot of studies show that your time to exhaustion and V02 max go up between 5%-10%+. Some studies are inconclusive. With that said reading tons of material on professional cycling in the 90's-2000's when EPO was first abused by the peloton; a lot of the pros talk about once it was introduced the speed of the peloton went up so steeply that if you were not taking the drug you could barely hold on in races. Also accounts of heavier sprinters (usually heavier and have trouble getting over mountain stages in multi day tours like the TDF etc..) who normally could barely get over mountains in grand tours, were winning mountain stages. Everyone's favorite doper Lance Armstrong said EPO was "rocket fuel" and "minimum provided 10% gains."...So naturally when I took the drug I thought that I would notice serious performance improvement. I got my hematocrit up to around 52.3 and my hemoglobin around 17.1 (from a base of around 44 and 15ish). While I have seen my power increase on the bicycle it is so subtle it is hard to tell if it is just from hard structured training or the drug itself. I guess what I am getting at is my experience is that the gains are underwhelming. Maybe that is just the way it goes with different physiologies or perhaps I have not jacked my blood values high enough into the more dangerous territories to see a difference. I know there are not a lot of endurance athletes on these threads (let along endurance athletes who have cycled EPO) but would love to hear anyone's experience or insight.

Have you had a look at your blood values? 7.76 w/kg is pro tour wattage!

I decided against EPO for this very reason, plus I felt like the cost wasn’t totally justified. I’m a marathon runner currently in week 6 of a 14 week build. I’m running 120mg test C and 40mg EQ per week. Also 1.5 IU HGH and 1mg BPC 157 5 days a week. Stack seems pretty good for me. Plan to add 15mg per day in the last 4 weeks before the race and drop the HGH about 7 days before the race to try and get the 2-3lb water weight down. Also experimenting with meldonium. Sorry to hijack your thread but just wanted to add what is working for me in lieu of EPO.

I just started my EPO Cycle, right now I have 4x4000iu relipoietin, and 7x2000iu relipoietin. So far I have taken one dose of 2000iu sub q on Friday. I am an endurance athlete competing in the US for cross country. Obviously I won’t feel anything until 2 weeks in but I just wanted to chime in on this thread incase anyone wants to Pm me to keep in touch with how it goes. I also take prednisolone, and l carnitine. I’ve also taken plenty of other things that I’m not currently on or stopped using. I’m gonna get blood work in the next few days to see my ferritin, rbc count, hemo, and hematocrit.

where are you sourcing your Meldonium? DM me if possible I have been searching this forum and can't really find anything.

Yes! They are pharma grade and work amazing. They come in capsules or ampoules.
Nice! I’m looking into it more and seeing if capsule or ampoule is better for me. Going to be cranking a marathon training plan. Attempting sub 3 and want something to help with those speed days. Thanks!

That"s great, I suggest the injectable form as its way more bioavailable. If you ever need some help with where to obtain certain peds or just want to learn more about that stuff dm me. I am a 2:36 marathoner at 19 so I have a bit of knowledge under my belt.

Dude that’s a crazy time! I don’t think it’s given me the option to dm on here or i’m just blind, maybe you could shoot me a dm first to open a convo? I have tons of qs. Thanks again

Believe it or not, you can buy meldonium on Amazon and it ships from Belarus… or at least it did for me.

Preciate it! It looks like you don’t have dms yet so I can’t do that. But If you have a question just ask in here and I’ll try to get to it when I can.

Wouldn’t you need a prescription if buying off Amazon. Plus I wouldn’t be buying it off Amazon cuz you need a prescription.

I just got 200 tabs of prednisone 10 mg from SSA for an SI joint issue. Can these be taken to enhance endurance or just for injuries?

Nah, they’re not scheduled or controlled substances in the US is my understanding so no, you don’t need a script. You can buy it on there like any other supplement.

Ah i didn’t realize i had to unlock it. Sounds good i’ll keep this thread marked for future if i have any qs.

Prednisone is like the wholly grail for running in my opinion, it helps take away from pain when running. I'm gonna try kenakort soon (cortisone).
