Easy chaps just cooked up some DHT at 50mg/ml at
30% BB
2% BA
25% of oil used EO
75% of oil used MCT
I once read that you can’t use pvdf filters with EO is this true? And if so which filter is most preferred for EO? Many thanks.

If your using EO as your sole carrier then idk. But if you only have less then half as the carrier then pdvf should hold up fine. Ive done it a few times with 20% EO.

Thank you mate if it’s always worked out fine for you I can’t see why it wouldn’t for me.

Autofil PP Bottletop
Part # 325-1241-FLS

I had an issue with EO a few years ago where the EO melted the plastic part of the bottletop. If I remember correctly, it’s the plastic part of the funnel you should be concerned with, not the filter membrane. Anywho, use the part number I wrote above and you’ll be good to go. This was given to me by a home brew vet on here.

Thank you brother

Using nylon and brewed like 4000+ vials till now no problem at all even with 100%eo . I filter my solution when it totally cool down to room temperature not warm

I had some to cloudy at the end 100mg/ml TNE oil.

filtered at 45C and the sides of the vaccum bottle top filter (the plastic cup not the filter itself) was sticky like it was melted

Always make sure the bottle top filter housing is made from polypropylene(PP) and not polyethersulfone(PES)

Can I refilter and save ?
The left one is a batch I made after this one
The right is the 500ml one. That was 25ml short of Guic. So I heated and added. It’s cloudy from the filter being slightly sticky.

Yes you can refilter the cloudy gear and it will come out clear, but filtering will take longer because it's full of PES material.

Post a pic of the different filters you are using.
