We just had a ton of ice/snow and yesterday I was shoveling for 3 1/2 hours. Well today my back is sore-in a good way- from between my shoulder blades all the way down to my lower back-tush area. Now I was wondering why these activities always give me this good soreness-so much more than changing up my workouts. I have changed it up using heavier weight and the lighter weight, adding stability ball exercises and I still plateau so quickly with these "isolation" exercises. I was wondering what you all do that give you a great workout--that doesn't involve gym equipement?
