Ex pro endurance athlete here

Hello everyone! I am training for half ironman Currently on HGH and Tirzepatide which i use mainly for body recomposition and recovery 4iu before bed + EOD 2iu morning before training. After a month in a cycle i started to feel like my performance and endurance is going worse. Most of my research was done in reddit and there were no talks about endurance sport and HGH interactions. After finding MESO and starting to research here i found few comments about GH actually hurting endurance and VO2max. Could someone elaborate? Also @jimmy endurance Could you please elaborate on need of T4 usage especially with GH?

How much do u train weekly?

110kg 193cm 270w garmin vo2 42.
So you dont laugh from my low numbers i am training TRI for around a year now
Nah dont worry, yeah the weight here its a big limit, but i think u could raise ur ftp easy, with ur height/weight if u train well i say 350 is a realistic goal and ehile doing it i think at 20kg less could be great so 90kg at around 350w ur almost 4w/kg but ironman are flat so w/kg is less important than watts to drag coefficient but then there is the running where the weight its a bit different
Train well eat well sleep well and the results are gonna come, tirz could be a good tool to not feel too hungry maybe reta could be better but idk, gh serm a bit overkill and near the race i would go with a lower dose, t4/t3 imho its more a replacement thing, so if u overtrain thyroid go down and u take t3/t4 to be in the natural top end

Sounds smart and logical. Thank you for your input

How much weight have you lost? There's a sub on reddit zepboundathletes where everyone complains about how much of a struggle it is in endurance sports while in a GLP. It's intriguing you think it may be the HGH, that never crossed my mind, especially when tirz probably has you in a caloric deficit and draining you more than the HGH likely is.

FWIW, HGH hasn't hurt me any that I'm aware, but I only fluctuate between 2IU (for vanity purposes) and up to 4IU right now for a bit for sleep and recovery.

It worked for Lance Armstrong and most of the entire pro peloton in the 90's-2000's. I race bicycles and when I started taking Tirzepatide I could barely peddle up a tiny hill. I could generate very little power. After about 3-4 months my body adjusted and after losing all the weight have been climbing like a champ. I recently switched to Reta last week and I am going through the exact thing I did on the bike as when I started Tirz. Its not the GH..GH is helping you recover not hurting your V02 max or endurance.

Its bc of the deficit, i did some hard weeks dont eating enough (lije big deficits 1500+ withot glp) and the power was funny low then when i eat more carbs i do easy double the power
For example yestarday somewhat big breakfast morning 170 w average and i felt dead then came back home ate big plste of pasta other carbs filled with sugar the bottle i did 287 normalized watts 128bpm average lmao
If someone need to lose weight they could be a solution but for elite athletes i think maximum some low dose reta for insulin
