Exertion headaches?

Sup guys. So I'm on my second week of pct from my second cycle and when I was benching two days ago on my final rep I got this explosion of pain at the base of my skull. It crippled me. I thought I might of pulled a muscle at the tip of my spine because it happened during a final rep when I was pushing myself. 5 minutes later the pain was gone so stupidly I tried another set and on the first rep it happened again. So I hung up the weights. The next morning I had a mild headache that went away by noon. I decided not to workout that day. Anyways I had sex that night and when I busted Boom! Another crippling headache. I woke up with another dull headache all day. Do anyways today and stupidly I decided to do a workout but I wanted to use low weights so not to bring on another headache. I did my stretches and some body weight squats and felt fine so I threw 135 on the bar and on my first squat boom, horrible headache at the base of my skull. It sucks. I gonna lose my gains. So my question for my meso brothers is have any of you ever gotten these headaches from working out? Did they go away? What did you do to correct them?

BTW I've been training on and off my whole life and pretty hard the last five years and never had an issue.

I had these when I first started working out. Oddly enough, when I bought my first supplement Force Factor, they went away. All it was, was arginine.
Maybe start taking that or agmatine sulfate.

Most likely you popped a blood vessel or something. When you lift if you keep everything tight you force blood into your head and face. . .i am at the point that I hold my breathe for 2-3 reps to keep everything tight. I gave myself a bloody nose one day on super heavy squat day..

Yes, you popped a blood vessel. This is common among newer lifters (I had it years ago) but not as much with experienced guys.

What really helps is any type of anti inflammatory medication like ibuprofen, so if you're desperate to lift pop 4 or 5 of those bad boys an hour prior. Mine went away after a week or two

I suffer with chronic migraines and I'd say about 70% of my workouts end up in a very similar pain but mine usually subsides by the next day when I wake up.
No pain no gain right? Haha

Just an update. These headaches keep happening. This sucks. I saw my doc and she said she thinks it was a thunderclap headache and sent me for a angio ct scan. My shitty insurance won't cover it so I said fuck it and didn't go. (Don't have the cash right now or anytime soon)Anyways I've been reading up on this and a lot of people get these and the one thing most of them had in common was using the valsalva maneuver which I also use when I'm lifting heavy. So I'm gonna take more time off from the gym. Then ease back in and just try to breathe through out my sets. I've also figured out they only happen during major pushing workouts. Squat and bench trigger them everytime. But my bent over rows, weighted pull-ups, and arm and shoulder exercises(excluding the over head press) don't. I scared to try to deadlift so I'm holding off on that one.
