Let me start by saying that this is the 3rd run of DNP. The first two were several years ago, so I've had experience with it.

Now, I am on day 10, the last 8 at 500mg. I've reduced my caloric intake around 500 calories per day, and I've lost a grand total of 1 pound so far. I have all the side effects, but none of the weight loss. Any ideas or suggestions? I don't want all of these pain in the ass side effects without any of the benefits.

It is my opinion that you are seriously miscalculating your nutritional intake.
Restriction to 500 calories a day alone should have already yielded 7 pounds or so of weight loss.

give us some statistics about yourself: weight, age, height, training experience, etc.

Thanks for the replies. I'm 5'10", 42yo, 215lbs, BF% is high. On DNP I haven't been doing any exercise as I feel like crap. Prior, I would only do HIIT cardio - for example 5 miles of elliptical, all Intervals with HR around 160-180 depending on the interval. I used to work out twice a day, but realized that lifting heavy made me starved and I ended up eating more and still gaining weight, so I cut back on the lifting and stuck only with cardio.

Typical day's diet on DNP

breakfast - EAS carb control shake, with an apple or banana
Lunch (which is actually dinner because I work graveyard) - eggs and turkey bacon
The rest of the time while I'm working would be maybe a Detour Protein bar, a grilled cheese sandwich, or some 99% lean ground turkey mixed with veggies, or half of a PB sandwich. Not all of those things the same day, but probably 2 of them.

I know I''m not getting enough water. I'll only drink around 3L of water a day, but my temp is staying fine, around 98.2*.

I haven't been taking any supliments during this run. No EC stack. I did try 40mg of 1,3-Dimethylamylamine on two different occasions, but didn't feel anything, so I quit taking it.

Well if your body fat is high enough - already you should be shedding weight like there's no tomorrow. No reason to really go nuts with cardio, because when you really compare that on top of your caloric restrictions, 200 or 300 calories really ain't shit.
When you say high body fat, do you mean 20%,30%?
If this is the case, and you still are not dropping weight, consider getting your intake to about 1800 calories or so.

Honestly, while on DNP, it really shouldn't matter where most of your calories are derived from.
good luck.
