I'm here to learn and discuss on a forum where the answer to everything is not just buy SARMS.

I like to keep track of what's happening with my sources, but I know how to get my gear and put together cycles that get me results, so I'm really here to look for and fill gaps in my knowledge while sharing my own experiences wherever it's helpful.

I'm 41 and on doctor prescribed TRT which I began around age 39. I've been lifting since I was 13.
6'2" 225lbs, about 10% bodyfat.

With TRT, I'm not worried about HPTA recovery, and my biggest concern is left ventricle enlargement because it seems to be the biggest legitimate potential side effect of AAS use. I've already lurked around some threads on that topic, but it doesn't seem like there's a conclusive answer about this possible danger unless I've missed it.

I'm looking forward to talking with you all and helping wherever I can!

Welcome man.
There are members here that have had to have heart surgery that may have resulted from AAS, so it is a valid concern forsure.

Damn, that is scary. If we knew there were a direct and unavoidable connection, I'd drop all AAS for sure except for TRT.

Good advice! I should give blood more often. I've heard giving "double reds" is the best way to go for AAS users.
Nice way to help ourselves and others at the same time!

Does it come down to BP? That's interesting. I thought there was a risk that AAS could cause LVH regardless.
At least there are ways to keep my BP down (low dose daily cialis being the most fun option)

AAS can cause lvh. Your heart is a muscle. Keep does low to moderate. Get yourself checked out regularly. This way if troubles arise you can stop. It's not something that happens over night. The problem is everybody thinks they do low doses if it's not grams at a time. Don't forget cardio and try not to get too heavy.

Good advice. The heaviest cycle I've done was 800 mg of injectibles and 50 mg of dbol daily.
I bulked up to 240 lbs on that, and realized I don't need to be that big.
This will sound like an exaggeration, but I ripped two different dress shirts on that cycle just by reaching to scratch the back of my neck.

That is 800 mg a week I should say, and 50 mg dbol daily.
Just realized the way I wrote that in the previous reply could mean 800 mg daily, yikes.

You can still make good gains while cycling low doses in between trt. If your looking to get jacked , then it's risk vs rewards.

Right, I've had some back problems that I've basically fixed through lifting and steroids.
I haven't had a bout with depression since I started trt. Sometimes I have trouble with my temper now, but I rather cope with that than back problems and depression.
Hopefully I haven't traded in those problems for lvh.

It's the cycles that you need to be cautious with. Unless you have high bp , you shouldn't have to worry about lvh with trt. Look up John Doe bodybuilding. Old school cycles for badass results.

I'm already a reader of John Doe, and I bought his newest book.
I think he's pushing SARMS too much these days to make affiliate money, but other than that, I like his stuff.

Have you tried his low dose cycles? I stay at 500mg a week on test where he recommended 200.

Do you cruise at 500? I think 200 is his TRT dose.
My doc wants me to do 140 as trt.
