Experiences with 5 HTP and Ashwagandha for sleep/general mood?

Had a terrible night's sleep yesterday. I'm on very low calories but still basically recomping as I've been off AAS or training for years.
I used to have terrible sleep years ago but it's better now.

Not that much stress in my life but yesterday I felt super energetic, it was 3am and I felt I could run a marathon. I took 400mg caffeine from a "thermo" blend at 3pm that day so it was way before bed time but maybe too much at once?

Apparently 5 HTP and Ashwagandha helps with sleep, any experiences with those?

I tryed both on my last cut, but i didnt get any help from them with sleep. I could go asleep normally, but at 4 a.m. I was ready for war. I suspect the long deficit does this to some people.

I absolutely love ashwagandha ksm66 for overall mood, helps immensely

5htp and gaba for sleep is great

I've been taking 5HTP and Ashwagandha for nearly 2 weeks now. Sleep quality improved, I sleep around 7/8hrs a night maybe waking up once during the night but I wake up feeling good and rested.
Not expensive supplements either so worth it in my opinion.

I often take 5-htp 200mg, glycine 100mg, choline and inositol 100mg each. and my sleep and mood are much better.

Uridine will help with getting your natural sleep schedule back on track. Cjc 1295 w/ dac promotes deep wave sleep. Dsip didn't do much for me but its supposed to help sleep schedule as well.

L-theanine works great for sleep if the reason your struggling to sleep is thought cycles going over and over in your head. It totally dials that shit down. Also great for anxiety if you have issues with that.

GABA also works good, but you need to dose at least 2000mg of the stuff.

I think 400-800mg of theanine plus 2000-3000mg of GABA would be a very effective combo but ive personally never used the two at the same time.

I'll definitely try this link, thanks for the advice.

Uridine I haven't had any sides from
The cjc 1295 dac might raise prolactin and can give some bloating at 1st. Tiredness goes away after a few weeks. It does give a pretty good head rush so advised to take right before bed

I've been using a Maca product from Amazon. 5G of KSM66,Maca,Theanine, and 1-2 other things. It's supposed to help out with stress, mood, and overall homeostasis of the body. So far about a week in and i feel pretty good. Im attempting a HPTA restart after 9 years of TRT to get the mrs. knocked up. Esters cleared and started high dose hcg+clomid. I attempted a restart a few years back and anxiety and dread was all over me. So far this time i feel more chill. Def not feeling great though but it's to be expected at 44 trying to recover!

Sleep wise i added back ZMA before bed and have been pretty good in that department. On TRT i averaged 5.5-7 hrs sleep, now in PCT im averaging 7+which is ideal as i really NEED the sleep to recover and not feel like an 80 year old man the next day. Another product that i use from time to time is Knocked The F#^$& Out by 5%.Its a tasty powdered tea you make and it really does the trick and puts you out. Runs about 30$. Not cheap but an effective tool to have on nights you need to get that rest in.

And where to read about it in more detail, I'm interested in how it works and what effects.

Strangely when I've tried 5-HTP and Glycine, I've had worse sleep on every night I try them.

I'm doing GABA, Melatonin and CBD/CBN gummies now and those seem to work best. Also going to give 25mg of Pregesterone a try.

And how did this manifest itself, because I have suspicions that I have the same situation.
