Extending Clenbuterol Usage with Benadryl

I was going to hop onto Ironcore's T3 post and ask this question, but I don't want to deviate from his topic, so I am starting another one.

I am now in the middle of week 5 of my cutting cycle:

100mg Test Prop ED
100mg Eq ED
75mg Tren Ace ED
100mcg Clen ED (Weeks 1-3)

I started at 262 lbs and dropped to 243 lbs in the first 3 weeks with the clen and 2000 calorie clean diet (see pic for week 3). Continuing the reduced calorie clean diet since the end of the 3rd week, I have dropped 9 more lbs to 234, but it seems that I have dropped mostly muscle weight and still have the residual belly fat that plagues me constantly. I believe the anti-catabolic effects of the clen were helping me loose the fat and maintain the muscle, but I was at my 3 week receptor limit and had to come off it. I had no access to Ketotifen, so I did not continue the clen. So with that, I have 2 questions I need some help with:

1. I heard that Benadryl could be used to extend clen usage for up to 8 weeks. I am assuming this is due to the Diphenhydramine HCL. Does anyone know the amount that needs to be taken daily to accomplish this?

2. I began a 6 week cycle of T3 at the beginning of week 5 which I will be pyramiding from 25mcg to 100mcg and then back down. Will the anti-catabolic effects of the clen help offset the catabolic effects of the T3?

Looking great bro! Big and cut. There's no reason why you need to lose more fat. Personally i would only use T3 in combination with steroids because it eats muscle away.

You can extend your Clen usage with Ketotifen for sure but i don't know if this goes for Benadryl as well. 8 weeks is a bit on the high side though. 6 is good IMO!
 
Thanks for the good word bro, been busting my ass trying to make this one count since I will be going into PCT afterwards. Wish I could get my hands on some Ketotifen, but I can't, so Benadryl is only option right now. I am just worried about diminishing more muscle mass with the T3 and no clen, although I have upped my protein intake and am still taking 100mg of Test P ED, along with EQ and Tren A.
 
You are correct, you can use benadryl. The diphenhydramine down regulates beta receptors keeping the tolerance to clen from increasing. From what I have seen:
Benadry at 50-100mg ED on every third week of clen cycle
You NEED to use Taurine throughout the clen cycle as well. 3-5g/day. Taurine calms exitatory nerve pathways and helps prevent the shakes, heart palpitations, and cramps.

Are you getting ready for a show or just trimmin' up?

Thanks for the good info Mayo. Looking at the Benadryl bottle, it looks like I will have to take 4 doses a day (each contains 12.5mg of Diphenhydramine HCL), which is quite a bit. Any other antihistamine that I can use? Pseudophedrine maybe?

I was considering entering a show, but I couldn't gain enough weight. Needed to get to about 280 before cutting down, but only made it to 262, so now I am just cutting up for myself to try and see how T3 will work for me.

Has to be diphenhydramine bro......that drowsy feeling most get is the down regulation of beta receptors. Get one, generic will work, with no other ingredients besides the diphenhydramine. Keep me posted beastman!

Thanks for the good word Solo, means a lot coming from a Vet like you. Problem is, I have SEVERE body dis-morphia, and I pick myself apart. Every time I look in the mirror, I hang my head, shake it, and walk away, because there is always something I find wrong. Almost lost my GF last week because she delayed me from getting to the gym and I went off on her. Oh well, we've been together for a year now, so she should know better! [:o)]

Like now, I have the remnants of the "spare tire" that just won't go away, hence the T3. But I think that if I can loose the fat and stay around the 230 mark, I should be ok. Plus, working out with guys who are competing for their pro cards doesn't help either! :mad:

At any rate, will get on the Diphenhydramine asap, can't wait to see what this does in about 3 weeks! :D

pseudoephedrine isnt an antihistime.its a bronchodilator. it clears you breathing
thats why its in cold medicine and it you take it before bed youll prolly have trouble
sleeping.

Oh it's there bro's.....right at the bottom of my abdomen and on my obliques and sides of my lower back. Hoping this T3 will blast that and allow me to up my calorie intake from 2k to 3k and still lose the fat.

:)ftfy, but an excellent post nonetheless.

Need, i'd beware pseudoephedrine just as a safety concern, and as far as the benadryl, the "downer" effect wears off after a week or two...i'm on 25mg 2/day for over 2 years now....u might consider my dosage instead of 12.5 4/day, the overall systemic exposure shouldn't be too different.

I am taking clen, that is how I dropped from 262 to 234. I want to stay at this weight and drop a couple more % in BF.

None taken bro, like I said before, good to hear constructive criticism from a veteran member.

I think that the problem is due to some of the people I work out with being bigger or more cut than I am. As I mentioned before, I work out with guys that are working towards their pro cards, so it is a tough act to follow. I know I shouldn't be concerned about how I look compared to them, but it does keep me motivated during times when I get off track.

I do have specific goals that I want to meet, but have not been able to do so as of yet. I fell short of my 280 lb mark at 262. Now I am trying to keep my weight up and lower my BF to 7%. I want to meet this goal since I missed the mark on the other one.

Anyway, back to the clen/T3 subject, the diphenhydramine seems to be working ok and it looks like I may be getting some Ketotifin shortly. The T3 is definitely kicking in now that I am up to 50mcg ED.

I'll post some pics at the beginning of next week to for a progress update.
 
N2G....If ur training for a show you still got a couple % to go. BUT you know as well as I do that peak condition is fleeting. In order for most of us to hold a sub 5% BF for any length of time, muscle will be sacrificed. Evaluate your goals and then decide what you'll do to get there. From one BB 2 another.....my2c.

Yes, I know that the low single digit bf% are difficult, if not impossible, to maintain for any substantial period. But I should be able to hold around the 7% to 8% mark for a while.

I think that I am ok with losing a few more lbs of muscle, but I don't want to slip under the 225 lb mark which gives me 9 lbs to play with.

It is just tough when you work out with guys who are 245 lbs and ripped! :(

We'll see how it goes and i'll keep you all posted.
 
Just wanted to post and update for on my clen/T3 cycle. T3 has definitely started kicking in now that I am ramped up to maximum daily dosage (100mcg). This, along with getting my hands on some Ketotifen (2mg ED) for the clen (120mcg ED) has really started burning up some fat. I have upped my calories considerably to 3500 ED and have actually gained 3 lbs but lost almost a % in BF. I can definitely tell the difference between taking the diphenhydramine and the Keto, the Keto wins hands down! Anyway, posting some pics as promised. Will update next week.
