Hypothetical question, not sure if this is for me yet: what would be the benefits of going for two weeks on a hardcore diet of literally nothing but chicken/tuna/salad at about 1500 calories a day while on a cycle of test? (I was discussing this kind of hardcore dieting with a guy that competes, he said it works for him)...any thoughts? thanks[/QUOTe
I think i know were your friend is coming from i compete also,but his strategy is actually better for a mass /muscle gain cycle.I know this may sound odd but the idea has been around for a long time.The idea behind it is to diet extremely for about 2 weeks this cause the upregulation of the enzymes necessary for growth You do this for 14 days and then you all of a sudden hit the calories and macronutrients hard and thats when you add the gear and you will repartition nutrients from fat to preferably muscle cells this effect lasts for about 2-4 weeks when just doing it naturally but since you are on gear you could probably run it longer.
