Fasting glucose is between 110 to 120

I've been on 5IU for about 3 weeks now. What should I do?

For some background info, I ran HGH for the first time several months ago while cutting -- started at 2IU and gradually bumped it up to 5IU, because my IGF-1 and Z score were consistently coming back even LOWER than my natty IGF-1 levels, including when I was at 5IU. I was also running tren, so I'm wondering if the cutting + tren combo was keeping my IGF artificially low. In addition to all that I was running Reta and never had a problem with blood glucose levels.

Anyway, now I'm bulking while cruising (just test C at 250/ week) and taking HGH 5IU and Reta at 2mg/week, which I thought would control my BG but apparently it's not.

I take the 5IU at night 3-4 hours after my last meal and right before bed.

Was thinking of ordering some metformin as the next step but it might take 3-4 weeks to arrive. Would this elevated BG be "okay" to deal with until it arrives, or in the meantime should I lower the HGH dose/ switch to EOD dosing?

How's your diet? How long have you been on Reta? Are you taking anything else to control BG like berberine or metformin? How much cardio are you doing?

How is your sleep? Poor sleep can trigger cortisol spikes which raise your morning fasted BG.

What's your BG 2-4 hours after eating?

Do you take your BG at night before you pin?

Cutting, I too seemed to flatline my igf even though it was still barely above baseline (145) Now I’m bulking, and I’ve noticed my bg is creeping up, but no where near the 100 mark. Usually nights as of late, if I check it’s in the 80/85. Sometimes 1.5-2 hours after I last ate. Mornings fasted I’ve gotten up to 85, but usually 75-80 (depending on if I woke up for a snack lol). Running high Reta (8mg/wk) high 60’s to low 70’s. I’ve titrated down to 1mg 2x/wk, and I’ll be off it for 4-6 weeks coming up. Should get interesting.

In your shoes I’d Definitley drop my dose until I got control of that fasted mark. I’ve worked my way up to 6iu, but will drop it in a heartbeat if it is consistently over that 100 mark.

Metformin has other health benefits too, so not a bad idea. In the meantime, you can get Berberine from Amazon in 24-48 hours. Berberine helps lower blood glucose like a "poor man's" metformin.
