Fat loss = Weakness to cold climate?

That's an AWFUL diet - no wonder you're still so fat, and haven't put on much mass. No offense, but that's the truth.

Where the bleep are your proteins?
I can go on, but your diet is a joke, you really need to revamp that radically before you even say the word "cycle" again.

You could inject a gram of test a week, and with what you eat you wouldn't see any benefit - there's nothing there to build with.

Eat a proper breakfast and lunch for starters!

Read one of Tom Venuto's books on your relationship with food and what to eat.

Edit: Yoghurt actually isn't bad - if you pick one with no added sugar. Lots of good protein and fat in yoghurt. Assuming you can digest it - what with you being Asian.
Didn't realize a large portion of asians are lactose intolerant Google also said Native Americans as well. Learn something new every day. I'm mildly lactose intolerant and tend to avoid milk and protein shakes completely cheese and yogurt don't bother me at all but a glass of milk can fuck me up.

After giving it much thought I decided to postpone my cycle for the time being. I might still order some gear nonetheless for the future plan, but for the time being I should pay more attention to my diet and bf. You guys successfully persuaded me.

I will have more to say in detail later. I am picking up egg whites and chicken breasts on my way home.

Look at the bright side - you still have an easy 20+ pounds of easy beginner muscles to put on. Totally free of charge - other than buying food, and putting in the effort.

Focus on the big stuff - squats, rack pulls, dips, pull-ups - activities where you can move a lot of weight with multiple muscles. Those are the big gain drivers.

If your gym permits deadlifts, do those too, but Romanians go a long way toward the same muscle groups, and less chance of messing up your back.

And find a way to get blood work done, just tell your doctor you're not sleeping right, that you lack energy, that you don't get morning wood, and that you're concerned your hormones might be off. It'd be malpractice not to order full hormonal panels for you. Do it! And let us know after.

Well, American Indians were Asians once upon a time. Don't see much dairy cow farming in their past do you? :) Same with many Asians (Orientals for the Brits), enzyme issues there too.

The FDA is fucking us over here too, no real yoghurt sold in the US, it's cleaned up cultures and pasteurized milk. We don't have real Camembert cheese either. Same reason.

Pretty fond of skyr but can't get it in my area, is it pasteurized differently for U.S. market even if it's imported?

Probably formulated to meet FDA reqs and then imported here. The FDA has gone overboard with pasteurization reqs - but that's how they operate, as flexible as a TSA thug.

Here's straight from Big Sis, she knows what's best for you :

I wonder if the FDA knows that kids and adults put fingers in their mouths that might not have been sanitized.... and rumor has it that some kids wound up with dirt in their mouths.

How do they think immune systems are built?

Heaven forbid they should go to India, Pakistan, or Bangladesh etc - the FDA would have an instant heart attack, or at least declare the entire country to be walking dead.

I took a new picture of myself today because I did not know how a small angle made a big difference in impression. The smartphone camera's depth of field is so shallow that distortion seems unavoidable. My legs are definitely a weak point but I think they are better than the first picture suggests. I tried to hold the phone close to my core instead of the chest.

Now that is out of the way, I will go over some unanswered questions and explain myself.

- Yes, I am Asian American.

- Bloodwork is impossible to get without a doctor. (NJ) My doctor is a nice and intelligent guy, but I doubt he would write anything that might come back to haunt him. I do believe he will be willing to check up on me and help me clean up any mess I might create, if it comes to that. So if I go on a cycle, I plan to ask him for mid-cycle and/or post-cycle bloodworks. (any hints on doc handling would be appreciated)

- As to the motive, I am not just trying to take a shortcut to get big. While that is a big part of it, if that was all there is to it I might not bother with gears. What I have been dreaming of is not what I can achieve naturally - namely the thick neck, broad shoulders, thick upper-chest, etc. I have always wanted that manly look, and I know that I am just not built for it.

For example, what is the part of my body that received most attention from me via isolation movements at the gym, after I finished compound exercises? Answer: My neck. This year I trained my neck at least twice a week. No other body part received that much care. But after 10 months of training, my neck grew precisely zero. All other parts of my body improved either by muscle growth or fat loss, but my neck has nothing to show despite taking up the most time I spent at the gym. (again, after compound movements)

My research tells me the only way for me to get what I want is through gears. I wish that was not so, but that is the reality.

My current goal is to lose 15 lbs in 2 months while growing muscles. I know I can lose weight much faster than that, but I want to attain what is sustainable. Eating lots of vegetables and drinking a lot of water helped a ton losing weight, so those will continue. I will incorporate more protein in my diet and see what happens. I really appreciate all the help I have received so far. (I really like the idea of not eating unless I can have 35g of protein - sounds like an easy enough direction to follow)

(continued)

- My stomach is tolerant of anything and everything. Lactose intolerance..I wish I knew such a thing. I have not had a stomachache for ages. It is not a good thing at all. The excessively tolerant nature of my stomach translates to constipation for me. It sucks up everything and leaves hard, dry matter in my intestines! Only thing that helps seems to be veggie fiber.

- If I do a cycle, I want to get in and out. I do not want to stay on it forever. My intitial plan was to try Test E at ~200 mg a week for 8~12 weeks depending on how my body reacts.

- Raw egg whites safe to consume?

Pardon my French, but I don't give a crap about your passport, so stop it with the hyphenated BS, we're all Americans in this country - well, there are some wetbacks too. My extended family comes from 6 different NE/SE Asian countries, but we chuck the hyphens. Don't put yourself in that box. I couldn't really call you Yellow or Mongoloid, could I? Asian it is.

Anyway, my Asian comment was just said to figure out what your diet could handle.

You're starting out, hard to comment on development. That said, in general, and back to the Asian ethnicity, I find most Asians (unless they're heavy on gear) will have really lagging chest development (goes for the females too :-) ), so I'd focus on that. The rest will fill in nicely. Don't forget to do as much back work as you do chest work.

And your doctor will NOT object to ordering blood work, now you're being ridiculous. Get it done. @Docd187123

Without blood work, it's a coin toss what you should run. But 200 is not a cycle, that just replaces what you shut down. Double it for a test-only cycle, but with your BF% you're asking for estrogen issues, expect bloat and other sides,. even with Arimidex, because you're not used to listening to your body. And, you have done NO blood work, so you don't know your baseline !!!!!!! Sheesh.

Raw egg whites in a carton are safe to consume they're pasteurized(not sure how @tenpoundsleft feels about that.lol) word of caution about the egg whites, you need to take it easy at first they can give you the runs if you consume too much without enough fiber (given your comments about your digestion you may not have to worry about it)

Ha ha - fuck you! :)

Actually, on the egg note, we're going overboard about eggs in the US too. Like bananas, they're already packaged nicely, no need to improve on nature. Most other countries actually do NOT refrigerate their eggs.

But we're screwed here, since the government forces all producers to wash the protective coating off eggs :
Why The U.S. Chills Its Eggs And Most Of The World Doesn't

No, I'm not fanatical enough to have my own chicken coop, thank you. ;-)

Edit : eggs aren't pasteurized though, egg whites are, but not whole eggs. Sure, you can find pasteurized eggs, but that's not the default.

The eu actually has much stricter guidelines on salmonella outbreaks than the US. The US tries to control infection after the fact they even "treat" the carcasses with mystery fluid before they're sold a practice banned in the eu. The EU tests, vaccinates and tries to be more preventive.

10,000 Gray and you can eat a plate full of ebola virus. Bring it on, light her up!

if you’re in nj you can get bloods in pennsylvania. they may ask for I.D , if so you can play like you left your wallet at home and go get your car insurance card with your name and ask if that’s good enough. generally they just want something with your name on it. or tell them to gfy and you just moved to pennsylvania and haven’t updated your license yet.

p.s these guys are giving you very good advice. your issue is your diet for sure.

you can drink that shit tea if you get backed up from introducing more foods also. ill drink a cup of that at night and come 3:37 am i wake up in a hot sweaty panic clenching my ass cheeks so hard that i’ve developed a charlie horse in my hamstring. i then run into the bathroom like a fucking storm trooper, break open the toilet lid and fill the entire bowl with boiling lava shits. my fiancé generally calls 911 afterwards and my dogs look at me with disgust and disappointment :(

What the fuck is happening? Meso must be getting really soft. I honestly thought this was a troll thread when I read your diet and yet you've received nothing but incredibly helpful advice from the members here.

Brother you have to be fucking kidding me you want to run a steroid cycle eating vegetables all day? Holy shit. Have you read any of the stickies here yet?

The goals that you outline are going to take you 4-6 years to achieve. You are at year zero right now because you don't have your diet down. Get yourself 200 plus grams of protein a day for the next two years naturally... every day brother. After 2 years take pictures and post them up here and then we'll talk about a cycle. Don't even think about cycling until you deadlift and squat 315 naturally. What are your three main lifts right now?

Good call on including the thyroid panel.

And OP, tell your doctor that he's FIRED! if he doesn't work with you on this.
It could definitely be a reason for feeling cold. Hypothyroidism is nothing to play around with, I have it myself and I take prescription T4 everyday at 75mcg. I had 3 blood tests in a row showing my thyroid on the lower end and finally said fuck it, give me something to help me feel better. It's really symptoms similar to low test when they thyroid gets low. It's be easy to confuse the 2 actually.
