why does it seem that way? 2 people who never lifted anything heavy in their life, 1 fat 1 skinny, fat guy is always stronger.

Are we talking about equal weigths? Like a tall skinny 220 pounder compared to a fat 220 pounder?

ok, lets make it as comparible as possible. equal weights. Seems to me a skinny guy who never lifted gets on the bench and is weak. But a fat guy who never lifts gets on the bench and can push some weight. How is that? On a side note, it seems when i have some fat on me, i'm stronger, but when i slim down and burn the fat, not as strong.

well the skinny guy will be much taller. Lets use Bench as an example. The fat guy only has to lift a few inches. His chest is higher and his arms are shorter. that really helps. Leverage factors in highly as well. Look at the WSM comps. The tall guys have adv. in the pillar/pole flips and some in atlas stones.
the compact guys do better in the squat and DL. the short compact guy doesnt move his levers as far to get in his strongest position. That IMO and my take on it

They have to carry around all that extra fat. Tall guy is skin and bones? I don't know I have seen many examples of this in girls and boys. Maybe they need to prove something because they are fat and get really mad?
