Favorite head shaver

What's everyone's favorite head shaver. I just use straight razors but I saw someone on the forum say they love a head shaver that the brand is called skull or something but I can't remember where I seen it. I use regular straight razor for head and face but didn't know if other people use anything different.

Some years ago had a Headblade which works and just recently bought from Walmart one of those 5 headed electric shavers that are geared for shaving the head.

Straight razors on the head invite getting nicked and nothing like having so many nicks and getting a bloody head. Those electric shavers that have heads that can conform to the contours of the head are great.

Of course I'll use a head trimmer to cut my hair down to a very short buzzcut then finishing with the electric shaver.

Regular Gillette fusion 4 or 5 or whatever is on sale. Been shaving my head since forever, tried electric tried the headblade but nothing beats a razor.

I think a lot comes down to the shape of your skull.
Absolutely. Most of the shavers have flexible heads that follow the contours of your head too.

That's what I use everyday the Gillette fusion. Best one I used so far

I use a hattaker rotary shaver. Waterproof. I razor my head about half way then finish it off with the electric shaver. 60 minutes battery life.

If your hair is short af you can skip pre shaving with a razor
You like it? I was literally looking at it today and settled in the RLSOO. My main concern and even the reason I bought one today is because after many years, I lost my Remington charger. I'm sure it will show up one day, but I'm a hairy dude and need to stay on top of keeping my beard looking respectable. I settled on RLSOO because all trimmers had some new looking, hard to replace, charger cable. So, I didn't want to spend too much because I assume I will lose the charger again.

To actually add insight to this thread instead of just bullshitting, I can honestly say I liked the Remington I had.

I do look for those that can use a standard USB to USB-C cable like what came with my iPhone, and they can be replaced easily if lost or damaged. Those proprietary Remington chargers tend to be pricy too.

I've found some Remington chargers on Amazon, what was your shaver model?

The particular shaver I linked has a pretty generic 2 prong connection that uses a standard USB power brick. I like it, quite sharp, they're extra heads available so no worries on the future. It's quiet, lithium battery.

Yeah, my initial search led me to some USB-c models. My favorite one had either a Q&A or Amazon Review that said the clipper doesn't work with standard USB-c. Like the company had a proprietary USB-c.

I will take a look at my exact Remington model when I get access to the bathroom again. But it was definitely a Remington PG6 series. Below is the new version of what I had.

But yeah, I remember seeing the replacement charger on Amazon for $10 with no prime. So I would be doing Zoom meetings with a messy beard for a while. But for $20, I get my RLS00 tomorrow. I think it comes with self sharpening steel blade, ipx7 water proof, and an LED display that tells me how charged the device is. It was a no brainer.

I found some nice ones in the $40 range, but I will just end up losing the non replaceable charger, so why bother.

I just realized, I was actually looking at another device, but same company.

Straight razor on your head takes some guts.

I was into traditional shaves myself and have some nice razors in my collection, but I never could get the hang of straight razors as I've slipped and did some nasty slices, so I just use my single blade safety razors.

For head shaving I use wahl blalding clippers with 0000 blades set as low as possible. That's good enough for me.

I found the charger to my other shaver. It fell into one of my sneakers. I don't regret spending $20 on the new one. I like it.
