I use these, I get a lot of positive feedback at my gym when I wear them-
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030FY0GM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage (Grizzly). I tried some wraps with the thumb loop and didn't like them as much. Too much fuss, and every time I tightened them they felt a little different than the previous time. I can get the Grizzly wraps exactly where I want them with one quick tug each. I wait until I'm on the bench to pull them tight.
Those are the ones, yea. I linked the word Grizzly in my original post. Cheap and effective.you're referring to a neoprene construction with a buckle and velcro correct??
I am seeing these on amazon for 13$
they aren't like wraps more like wrist supports correct?
Oh, bummer. But it is more fun when they forget the safe word.thats not gonna work for me
I get pretty winded and lightheaded doing skwatts and deads...
I will for sure forget the safe word
If you can't grip it you can't lift it
Dont use a crutch man. Stick with the forearm grip training and you'll be glad you did
I am on my second pair of harbinger straps - cheap and does the trick, allows me to DL to my leg/glute/back potential and not only to my grip's constraint.
I bought harbinger wraps as well this last summer for presses but I do not feel they do as much for my presses as the straps did for my pulls. I use them above 85% of max.
Not trying to hate but unless you have a 800 pound deadlift or more then you should be able to grip it and rip it if not then you should work on grip. When I do my 1rm I stand and hold the bar for as long as possible. Chalk and your own thumbs for deadlifts.
I made the safe word "harder". That turned out to be a fucked up night.Oh, bummer. But it is more fun when they forget the safe word.
