Favourite compounds for Powerlifting

For powerlifters on meso, what are your preferred compounds & How many compounds are powerlifters usually running on a cycle/blast phase?

Do you think hGH is a worthwhile peptide to use in the sport?

I’m curious as to the difference between PL and bodybuilders as far as AAS are used as tools in the sport & compounds you would want to run leading up to a meet.

Test is always best
Eq or deca
Anadrol or dbol if weight isn't a concern
Anavar if weight is
I believe gh is worthwhile if only.from.a.recovery stand point (some.will disagree

1 to 2 weeks from.meet add halo

Day of.meet.halo and large doses of Drol dbol or var whichever is being run, test suspension would be a great tool as well

Some will say tren but i hate feeling.like shit all the time

I had a comment but you covered it pretty good.

I am dropping weight this year to compete 2 weight classes lower, and running gh for the cut, recovery, healing, lipolysis

A very interesting question, I also join this with pleasure, it was always interesting how many colleagues do and what.

Why the EQ? I feel like I often see people ragging on it due to the increase in RBC or writing it off as taking too long/purely aesthetic. I can see the logic behind the other compounds but Im a bit ignorant about EQ, & I have no experience w/ the compound.

I like eq good steady strength gains, keeps cardio good, increased hunger for incrwased clorie intake, I get bloodwork checked regularly while on it though as I'm anemic which causes higher hematocrit to begin with, i usually give blood at least once on cycle if it does get high 600-900 per week seems to be the sweet spot without a big jump in blood levels

Higher androgen cycles tend to make.my joints hurt from the sudden jump in numbers, and the side effects out weigh the benefits for me (tren) I've also been told many times that I'm an asshole, so I don't like to use things that make me more of one (I tend to be direct, and people these days can't handle it)

Tren generally destroys morale, which is why I abandoned it at the time.

EQ sounds pretty good in that case despite the hematocrit. I guess I overlooked it. I kind of still would veer away from it because I am not allowed to give blood due to my nationality in the country I live in. it sounds like a solid choice for powerlifting+cardio heavy sport in offseason.

That makes sense about the tren, it definitely removes the Polite/PC filter so being direct w/ tren sometimes isn’t quite the same as being direct off it lol. Without NPP + tren I’m sure my joints would absolutely go to hell.

And how is the process going in general? Strength, how does the training process and in general feel life now?
Well, I competed at 242 and hated being that heavy. Currently 203 since we will say Jan 1. Still more weight to cut, took a 6 week break from cutting and still lost almost 10lbs. Back to cuttong again today, plan to be at goal by end of year.

Strength believe it or not has not suffered all that much. Squat set a PR a few weeks back, deadlift hanging in there, bench has dropped maybe 15lbs. Overall feel great, sucks cutting in summer time. Hence the break and after about 6 months of cutting the weight loss stalled.

How tall are you?

Bulk with deca and or dhb, cut with anavar. I had a lapse of deca and var and was strong as fuck. Hgh everyone should use, the benefits are for everyone. Comp drugs: halo, cheque drops, drol. Drol is good for a peak. Ya need to train for a comp so as to peak into competition. I know you asked about drugs but its more critical to train right. Diet is key but only to make sure you eat a lot and cut to make weight but so you dont lose too much.
So for PL I would priotritize training first, diet second, and drugs third. The drugs are more effective for physique. Strength is a lot different. Think about the story ya heard about the young woman lifting a car cause their child is trapped. I think drugs made me more strong overall. Like my DL isnt a whole better but I was able to squat more and bench more. Strength mainly comes from the CNS. The muscles are slaves to the CNS. I always draw the comparison between ronnie coleman and jamal browner. Jamal competes at 242lbs and ronnie colman was idk 300+ lbs. Jamal can lift as much or more at 242. Or jamal and say any given strongman.

I am also 5'10". If i am ever able to get my back straightned out i was contemplating going down to 198. Competed at 220. It always seems like guys our height seem to compete 220+. i was pretty strong at 205 and thats when i was natty. So thats my basis for thinking that but I have heard you wanna pack on as much weight as you can. I just dread the idea of bulking into the 220s low 230s again!

I'm.trying to go 242 for same reason, but now that I'm down to 249, I may keep cutting

My squat suffered this cut, bench and dead are going steady, but I've also been prioritizing those lifts, and kind of have the squat on the backburner due to a nagging ankle injury

Hopefully you can get that fixed up and get back at it.

I was supposed to compete at 220. I was on a deployment and when I got home and started prep I was already over 220, so had little choice to go up. Weigh in dau I was 228 so had my home scale not been off, I probably could have water cut and competed 220. Instead I spent the next 24hrs pigging out, and did weight 242 the next day lol.....

My plan is to drop to about 180, get as lean as I possibly can then come back and compete 198 next year.. Good chance to set some national records at 198 and even 220 if I wanted to go back up... I feel and look best in and around 200

I would keep cutting too, youre close. Always one that suffers cutting lol, usually bench though. I tore my hamstring 4 weeks out so been keeping at squat and hamstring work.

I am not a doctor but doesn’t anemia usually mean your hematocrit is low?
