How I got so lucky as to have found MESO first (of all the interesting information, posts, blogs, forums and bullshit out there on aas) I'll never know, but with a head full of new information swimming, I thank God I did.
In case the title didn't give it away. ..I'm a girl. It even says so on my birth certificate.
I come from a family of robot-like football marathon super athletes where I often feel like I am the expirament to see what happens when atheletic talent is with-held from the otherwise flawless gene pool. I am neither fast nor terribly agile but damn if I can't deadlift. ..
I love lifting. It makes me feel alive. I only get on the treadmill (or other cardio device of torture ) because my body knows that afterward, it will be rewarded with barbells and dumbells and weight plates oh my!
I eat a modified paleo diet. .. which, (no haters please) I discovered at the crossfit box where I managed to shed the 90lbs that had plagued my body after a career ending injury and a series of bad choices.... (modified paleo because grass feed organic bison is neither financially practical nor readily avaliable.) Clean diet...no white carbs... (well maybe on Christmas)... 100-150 grams protein per day. .. carbs from veggies and fruit, 1800 cal at current. 200-240 Oz H2O every day. (beer counts right? JK)
I'm at the gym 5-6 days a week. 1 hot yoga day to keep limber. following a beginner bb routine that the book said worked for Schwarzenegger (I know, I know but at my age, I don't care and girl work outs don't suit me) crossfit on days off from lifting.
I work full time night shift 1830-0630 one week on and one week off so schedules can be tricky.
My current goal is to shed 20 more pounds and look better than my brothers by next year by working in a calorie deficit for 2 more months (don't say more cardio. .. id rather eat cabbage for every meal) and then running a var cycle... or 2... or... to add definition. Awaiting calipers to test bf as the scale doesn't mean all that much to me right now.
Thank you all for posting great information! I have been scared, overwhelmed and entertained from the hundreds of posts I've read thus far... looking forward to good advice and good gains.
peace!
