Female weight loss and strength building

Semaglutide is the way. Just get rid of the junk food in your house so you can lower the calories because you don't have to eat much to feel full with this stuff so the less calories in the food the more weight loss.

I'm at 1000-1500 calories a day without trying. It's like easy mode for weight loss.

Went from 16.9% body fat to 14.20% in like three weeks.

I'm lifting weights 3 times a week and get some cardio and walking in too
but calorie restriction is now stupid easy.

Before this stuff I'd struggle to stay at 1800-2000 calories a day.

She'll just gain back everything lost if she doesn't learn about nutrition and proper eating habits. But the muscle lost will be gone forevery unless she trains.

It couldn't be said better than what @4Drago has already said and what @ChevoGuap said may be harsh, but it's very accurate. You seem to be looking for the magic pill, but there is no magic pill. You have to crawl before you can walk. Get the basics down and make the changes first. Diet should be the number one thing you should be looking at right now. Get someone to help you make a food schedule and stick to it. Learn to eat properly. All the carbs are not going to fill you up. You'll see once you start eating correctly that you won't be as hungry, weight will start coming off, and you'll feel better. Have someone help you with a workout schedule so you can maintain your muscle. You need to be able to commit to these things before anything else. As far as protein, you don't have to just eat it, you can drink it too. Heck, I'm drinking an Isopure, green tea and lemonade flavor, right now and it's got 32 grams of protein in it. Get your house in order and then, if you need it, start looking for the extra help.

Welcome and good luck. You're in the right place.

I ran semaglutide for 6 months and, yes indeed, I lost the 10+% body weight that is "advertised". But, two things: 1. throughout, I had periodic nausea daily. Apparently it was supposed to go away after a couple of weeks, but not for me. It was a bit of a drag. So, I had to be prescribed generic zofran (very cheap, very effective within a few minutes of biting and swallowing). Got the job done. 2. Within a week of discontinuing the semaglutide, my hunger came back ...and I have put on probably 1/2 of the weight that I lost. So, for me, I'm following with phentermine 37.5mg once daily, which keeps my hunger in check. Note: as you probably know, phentermine is a stimulant (literally an amphetamine), so it's not for everyone. But I had been treated with ADD medicine for years, so now I just take the phentermine daily instead of ADD meds. Sort of a swap...although they don't work "exactly" the same. Similar enough for me tho.

So, would I recommend semaglutide? Well, yes, I guess...with these caveats. Also, the 6 month course of it cost me roughly $700 as I recall.

Bottom line is that you absolutely must get your diet in check (a calorie deficit between what you consume and what you burn off daily/weekly) as well as getting the physical work done. And, the physical work doesn't necessarily need to be anything more than walking 12,000 steps per day (check out Paul Revelia on youtube).

You'll get it done! Good luck.

Hey. If these guys didn’t run you off with their rudeness it is an important fact that 95 percent of all “diets” fail. Every single last one of them. Adding a glp-1 is no exception. If you go back to doing what you did before you will gain it back.

The majority of folks that are obese are not lazy. The word lazy is thrown around here as a slur and I find it quite unsettling how rude many of these posters are. Not sure if their parents raised them that way or if it is the drugs they take but it is what is. But, many obese citizens have very successful jobs and are financially secure. They have strong family and friends and have a live filled with loved ones.

Lazy people don’t achieve the kind of comfortable finances to lay out the kind of cash it takes for the best glp-1s...which costs way more than the cheap gear these guys are using. I don’t see Tracy running off these very lucrative customers with rudeness. I see Tracy making bigger commissions off these newer customers than they have in the past off these small time gearheads who need to brew up stuff in their dusty unclean apartments rather than buying finished product. Glp customers are the “whales” many of whom have homes that are sanitized weekly by a service that comes one to two times a week and keeps their homes white glove clean.

Being obese is not because your parents raised you like an animal (one dude implied that). You don’t have to punish yourself by putting tape over your mouth (I heard that too). You don’t need to be struck off the face of the earth because you are a stupid and Darwin has decreed that you shouldn’t live. You don’t have to listen to these probably broke and probably many of them uneducated folks that can’t afford the best things in life and only have their physiques as their only accomplishment.

Obesity is now being shown to be relative deficiency in satiety hormones. It was probably useful back in the day with food was scarce but now it’s a harmful trait.

Yes it is important to know how to eat healthy in an unhealthy world. That takes education and practice. But now you can add a peptide, glp 1, to give you the missing ingredient that will make all of this knowledge stick for the long term and beat the statistics.

I do agree that the basics include mastering a basic healthy diet and a consistent exercise regimen.

But the rest of the rudeness here?

Jealousy. Many of them know that they are only the masters of their bodies and nothing else. And perhaps less productive (lazy?) in other parts of their lives. If they don’t live in a million dollar plus home are they lazy? If they don’t have a Tesla in their drive way are they “lazy”? If they didn’t vacation at the most exclusive resort in Hawaii last year are they “lazy”? If they aren’t the owners of a very successful and lucrative business are they “lazy”?

If they are indeed successful in all areas of their life (which I highly doubt based on statistics) and still have to come here to demean others then what does that say about them as human beings?

Anyways, you do you and use the tenacity that has allowed you success in the rest of your life to finally also become the master of your health.

Good luck on your journey!

So you basically ranted and gave multiple excuses saying obese people aren't lazy but fit people are? Because obese people are financially stable and have family's wtf? Excuse, excuse, after excuse...sounds like you've been there.

Did you even read any of the posts? Obviously not. You're just on auto-excuse for the morbidly obese. Take a minute and actually read. Sounds like you're trying to sell a product.

Actually read the posts. No one here said anything you're claiming. NO ONE said anything you accuse them of in your cut and paste response.

Yeah. I’ve been there and I have overcome all of it and I am willing to help anyone who wants to achieve success in every aspect of their lives. I am financially secure and now fit and lean. I’m not one to pull up the ladder behind me and I am not ashamed of my past.

If you were looking to hit a nerve with me you didn’t.

I’m here in the pursuit of maintaining what I have. The purpose of life is to live it to its fullest.

What I am is I am aging. That is something none of us can escape. I want to be fit and healthy when I am old. That is my goal.

And my rant was a response to all of the negative and frankly disgusting and unwelcoming comments that were made here by others with hundreds of others watching and saying nothing.

More of an equal and opposite reaction. I have nothing at all against how any one here chooses to lead their lives. I have muscle bound gym rat family members as well. Not all of my family members are well educated or financially secure. What I see is a lack of respect in return from some of the others here.

Don’t bully others and you won’t get bullied in return.

Help others and do unto others as you would do unto your loved ones. I don’t say yourself because I know many here are into self harm.

If the moderators of this site want to keep it closed to those non superphysiologic test fans then they should tell us now so that we can exit.

From what I’ve seen the welcome mat has not been pulled and if and when it is I’m sure most of us will leave with grace.

Perhaps an offshoot site that separates the groups will become necessary at some point if civility can’t be achieved.

I’m going back into the shadows. I only said something because something had to be said. Hopefully others will call out the rudeness and try to keep it in better check in the future.

peace out

AGAIN, you didn't even read any of the posts. You're just ranting. All your accusations are lies..point blank.

You posted a lot more then you would of had to read...interesting.

You sound like a lazy obeser.

Edit: who is also here to learn how to *BiOhAcK*

Holy crap. Just listen to yourself! This is what y’all do here. Just make assumptions about people all day long. You get it tossed back to you and you can’t take it.

If I were fat and lazy why I subject myself to these insults because they hurt only if they were true. Truth hurts and I’m not butt hurt.

I’m just trying to appeal to your good side (if you have one) and try to get you to lay off others.

That’s it. Just cool it already!

I’m not fat and I’m certainly not lazy and honestly I just need to get back to making my living..which because I’m not lazy I have been able to make myself a comfortable and flexible life.

I hope your life is great outside of the gym and outside of spending time insulting others.

Good day sir.

OMG, you were just waiting for someone to post something to justify your blazing rants. I though you said you don't get triggered? Thought you said your were done and outta here?

Leave the fatty alone. Don’t let her infect you.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and expecting a different result.

It is absolutely positively insane of me to try to reason with school yard taunting bullies who have no ability reason at all.
You guys never stood up for yourselves by the way. So I will take that as proof of being right about many of the bullies here. If I call you broke and you’re not. Say it. If call you uneducated and you’re not then say it.

Just think about being helpful to others in the future and consider changing your ways.

I’m finally done. Call me insane if I ever respond to this total nonsense again.

If I call you broke and you’re not. Say it. If call you uneducated and you’re not then say it.

We have no obligation to try and correct your hurt feelings.

You’re gonna have a hard time when ever you leave your basement for the first time with skin this thin.

This thread is wild. Recommending dnp right off the top. Wtf. Then this feminist coming from the shadows to save the day. It's calories in vs calories out.

But a bottle diet coke does cancel out sugars

View: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iIAFe7zaCRU

That’s not being a feminist. She just talked BS to try to make herself feel important. It was for no one but herself. She had 1, just one post before this thread. She’s helped no one. People are trying to keep the poster safe and do things correctly, so she doesn’t get hurt.

As much as it pains me to admit it, she's not wrong. There are too many people who would rather insult than help. Women who seek advice on the forum often receive the most hostile responses. A lot of anger and hatred directed at the OP for calling this out. But hey, disagreement about DNP recommendations, we can be nice about that! People seem to forget, this is a harm reduction forum.
