I agree with this. New members probably aren't aware that Meso's women's subforum was pretty much destroyed just as it was starting to take off because one guy took harassment into real life stalking. The forum never recovered. I'm all for the bantz but not everyone appreciates becoming the object of male affection (masturbatory fantasies) everytime they post a question.

I can see the pros and cons. Obviously no one wants to be harassed. Personally I appreciated the banter this time around, because it did end up getting more people in here who were able to give a bit more insight and point me in the right direction. Before that this thread was neglected for over a month. (Though I realize it's not my thread, nor can I speak for every woman who ends up coming here. I'll still take my due blame for using a provocative PFP and joining the spam).

I can really only speak as a female/new member, but it was somewhat nice to be "welcomed" into the community via the Off-Topic chatter. Among my BB/roider friend groups&the other forums I frequent, Meso is sort of known for being a bit 'brutal' to new members (take that as you will, I do think your guy's 'brutality' is generally justified and part of this place's charm). So being able to joke around right off the bat definitely gave me a warmer impression of Meso, and more of why I would personally like to stick around. Hit n' miss I suppose!

Seriously though, I'm not bashing on anyone in the thread but it's kind of a sad indictment of the forum when a thread in the women's section doesn't get any traction until a bunch of juice heads see an ass they like and want to e-fuck it.

Knowing they'll get bombarded with vulgarity and requests for T&A pics tends to discourage a lot of women from posting, particularly those that are new to forums like this. That's probably the one of the reasons most of the questions in here are from men asking for their wives and girlfriends, which is something else I don't agree with but I'm digressing.

It would be nice to see this subforum start growing again instead of stagnating like it has been. It was one of the most fun forums on Meso when it was active. And like I said earlier, I like to shake it up too and you handed it back to Maryanna like a boss. I enjoyed that. So I don't know what the solution is or where to draw the line. Stick around though. You'll like it here and you sound like you have a lot to contribute, and that will do more than anything to attract new female members.
