Fever from home-brewed test

So I ordered some raws about a year ago, brewed a partial batch...had no problems whatsoever.

-Let the raws sit in a container in the closet for a year

-recently brewed another batch from those raws...started getting fever and horrible PIP from the injections.

-the second time around I was extra careful to be extra clean and using sterile supplies...still got sick

What went wrong???

If your having infection signs from pinning. I would not continue to use the batch. Endocarditis isn’t something to mess with. Your body is amounting a response for a reason

Does Prop seem to have this issue?

Is there any insight into what esters are more stable for long term storage and subsequent brewing/usage?

In which case wouldn't it have been bad the first time?
I had this a few years back with Test E from purple panda.
It was only a few months between batches but the 2nd , 3rd , 4th batches were excruciating so I had to throw it all out.

Every time I hear about Test-E PIP, I'm reminded of the joke about the guy who goes to the doctor and says "Doc, my arm hurts every time I do this." The doctor replies "Stop doing that.".

What is your take on Kurt Havens taking a dump on cyp?

If I understand his hypothesis, cypionate esters aren't "efficiently" metabolized limiting how high of a serum level you can reach, and there is also a large variation in response to Cyp from person to person.

I don't know much about this area but I've been using Cyp for a long time, I respond well, and my levels are stable. So for me, it works.

Look up what pyrogens are. Even bacteria etc that have been killed via autoclave can sometimes leave scraps of RNA etc that will cause an immune reaction aka a fever. Your gear may somehow have grown a bunch of bacterial colonies but pyrogens are more likely. Either way it's not really usable though.
