Filtering finished oils

I used Membrane Solutions.
I know your post is 4 months old but I have been using the Membrane Solutions 500ml 22um all in one (filter top and receiver bottom). The filtered oil has always come out 100% clean....BUT the bottoms often crack.

Looking for a better all in one unit. I know I can just use a filter top and a glass media bottle/receiver, but I like being able to dispose of everything once I am done.

It's made of polystyrene, the BB in your oil is dissolving it, hence it cracks.
Hopefully it doesn't end up dissolving in your oil.

I get my filters from Tisch Scientific. They even have 0.1um PTFE filters for reasonable price, which I may try in future to compare effects on PIP - 0.22 is enough for bacteria, but 0.1 may collect more aggregates. I suspect that with such small pores I'll need to use a caulk gun with larger syringes.
Did you ever try this?

I see a few people earlier in this thread linking PES filters on Amazon and using them to filter oils. Just to put out there as a reminder on which filter type to use for oil and water based solutions.

Material Compatibility Charts

- PES filters are used for peptides and other water based. Membranes are not compatible with BA and BB
- PTFE filters are used for filtering steroid oils
I'm not disagreeing in general, but the material compatibility charts are not relevant at the small concentrations of BA in AAS (that are also in peptides at a similar ratio)

If you're filtering pre-workout oils then I'd definitely want to use PTFE.
Stuff like inj orals adrol/dbol/test base/tren base etc
But why risk it in the first place? Just get PTFE and call it a day.

Also, I expect most people know this, but PTFE hydrophobic for oils, and PES hydrophilic for peptides / water based.

For some reason you can find a million non-sterile hydrophobic PTFE syringe filters on Amazon, but almost none sterile and individually wrapped. I guess they have some common non-medical use.

KS-TEK has some, but probably better to just go the AliExpress route or get it from their website directly.

I did find some on Ali - if it was you that gave that tip, can't remember, thank you. I've bought so much off AliX I don't know why I didn't think to check.

Care to share a link? I'm looking to filter some oils. Kind of confused as to what to get. Was hoping they would just connect to a lure lock syringe on one side and needle on the other?

Yep, that's how they work.

PES / hydrophilic: Amazon.com

PTFE / hydrophobic: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807576607690.html

KS-Tek seems like a decent off-brand, as does Cobetter.

Youtube video showing how to filter peptides by Peptidetest, who also sell filters.

Is there harm in using PTFE for water-based
