Filtering hard through syringe filters

If it goes from a drip to a hose yes. It can go pretty fast if it's thin carrier oil (mct) and warm enough. But if it gets easier something is fishy.

It usually either becomes cloudy or you can see the filter fibers in the solution too.
Ok thanks man

Maybe this a stupid question and I'm just paranoid.

I was brewing some npp and test p (separately) this morning. I use syringe filters and I was brewing 100ml of each (ya I know).

The npp was fine, that got a bit hot but no biggie.

By the time I started filtering the test p I was exhausted and I was filtering it at 150F hard. Pushing hard on the 10ml syringe to get it done quick.

None of the filters blew. But I usually filter much slower and at a lower temp. Maybe I'm paranoid but is it OK to filter it hard with a lot of pressure as long as the syringe filter doesn't blow? It was 150F and I was pushing hard as hell
As long as you don't damage the filter you are gtg.

I would brew a couple hundred MLS and filter as needed. It's alot easier.

Anything more than that look into individualize methods.

For the average PED user 100ml is more than enough per batch.

Most "homebrewers" in PED forums asking for filtering hundrends of ml batches and brewing 100gr+ raws are small time local ugls.

Thanks man I understand now by the way which diameter syringe filter would I need so I can attach it to a 60ml syringe 13mm or 25mm because I have 25mm 0.22 but I think the attachment hole is too small for a 60ml syringe

If filter is intact and it's rated for 150f you are fine.
Next time get a caulking gun, a 50ml syringe and go slower. You will not get tired.
Question on you mate , i thought i had all as supposed to be but i found out after i did 100ml oil that my filters are not sterile.
Should i all open and refilter again into another vials ? I did one pin and all well for now . Thank you mate

...or is any way to make my not sterile filters sterile ?
I honestly don't know. Theoretically you can run a few ml of pure ba and they should be ok, but I have never done it, I always buy sterile individually packaged filters.
