Finally got Tren cough

Well, I have taken Tren before but I just injected and sure enough for the first time I got the Tren cough. My lungs got a real weird sensation, then my mouth had a funny chemical taste to it, and now I have been coughing for a few minutes. I sure as to hell thought people were BS'ing about that, but it turns out it is true. Definitely not a great experience, but at least I know what its like now.

Yea that happened to me. I think it was in the quad. I got the same feeling, and then I started hacking like a mother..Thought I was going to pass out, all while the needle was still in my quad..
It's not fun...

Its the ace ester, doesn't happen with Tren E.
I get it from time to time as well, usually happens if I try and inject to fast and I begin to taste it, so if I slow down it works out good.

Yep, it was in the quad and I was injecting quickly as my GF was coming over. It is tren acetate powder, not pellets. A lot of people thought it was just something from the pellets, but I guess it happens with the powder too. Definitely freaked me out.

Yea when it happened to me I was coughing so bad it hurt! Then a few minutes went by seemed like hrs. I was still hacking so loud.
The next time it happened I felt the funny taste in my mouth so I stopped immediately, and took short breaths, and then it seemed to go away..

I'm confused.

The symptoms you describe are indicative of a pulmonary oil microembolism (ie episode of sudden-onset, non-productive cough associated with faintness). This can happen with any oil based injection. It sounds to me like you hit a blood vessel. That is the only way your symptoms could develope so quickly.

When I use Tren I will get a productive cough about a week after I start my first injection. It doesen't happen every time though. I assumed that this delayed onset productive cough is the "tren cough".

this is 100% accurate...it is the acetate ester causing the cough...not the tren...b/c parabolan formula and tren enan do not cause the cough...just tren ace...take care

You're not alone - I always thought that same thing too. (Well, minus most of the medical jargon :) )

I beg to differ, 2 CC's of Tren Enanthate, probably my 4th shot and I finally got the cough.I was hacking for about 4 minutes straight, at first my lungs felt like they were weazing or filling up with something, it was weird, like I was choking on something.I took a shower right after and a few minutes went by and I felt normal.I'm positive this was Tren Cough, and it was with the Tren enanthate.

hmm...Similar experience happened to me a few times with Test Enanthate. Don’t know, I thought maybe I hit a blood vessel or something, like Rod mentioned... Maybe someone with some medical background or with any knowledge on the subject could shed some light on this. Also,

you experiencing this cough with tren enan would probably be caused by your obvious lack of expertise and other knowledge about AAS...i assume you aspirated before you injected...where you able to keep the needle steady 100% of the time...doubtful, if you had, by chance, aspirated sometime after you had injected some of the tren enan, you would have probably pulled blood...meaning you might not have been injecting directly into a blood vessel...but you probably punctured one, and some of the tren enan found its way into the vessel, causing a micro pulmonary embolism...not exactly the same as the tren cough you have read about...take care

Go slow

Here are a few tips on the prevention of quick onset Tren cough:

Slowly inject'
Mix with prop, EQ, ect.
Drink Ice cold water just before the shot
Breath slow

Just my 2 cents, Homer

I've had Tren cough many times now, and its always happened with leg shots, never anywhere else. Too many damn veins in the legs, put that shit in the arms/glutes whenever possible.

Rod is somewhat correct. It has to do with coming close to a vein and the ester getting into your blood and pulled into your lungs. This happens to me with both Tren Ace and Test Prop...take care...
