Just want to say hello!

Been lurking for awhile, lots of great information here.

Im in the process of getting my first cycle together, unfortunately i ordered from pep and everything went great but I'm hearing that the gear is not good. anyways just wanted to say whats up and look forward to learning some more from you guys.

Welcome bro. If there nothing floating in your gear you could try filtering it. That should clean it up.

thanks boxer, i don't have any experience with filtering but I'm sure i can find some info on the boards.

I was pissed cause i thought i found a good first source after reading over half that damn 3000 post thread about pep. then after i ordered i started reading the rest of the thread and BAM! a 180 degree change. oh well I'm researching and i think i found some other great sources, will keep you guys posted with results.

Unfortunately they come and go pretty quickly sometimes, gotta keep on top of things.
Learn how to filter, its not a bad thing to know anyway.

word of advice... If you read about problems in the beginning like how pep had floaters when he first got here, then I would look for someone else. The floaters meant that the gear was obviously dirty and he allowed it to reach a customer. I was just about to place my order when this happened and bailed out after hearing about the floaters. Mistakes that early in the game spell amateur, the last type of person you want to buy from.
