Finasteride? Should I start it or no?

It's kind of crazy that 90% of experience in this thread is negative towards finasteride. I'd say minox has a bigger chance of sides and you should be aware of that.
Also, there is no hair transplant without finasteride or dutasteride, forget it and don't endorse it.

That's the great irony. Run from finasteride like I did, after getting the worst possible sides and then fearing their permanence, irrationally I'm convinced, and trying to "fix" it with a transplant later requires guess what? A commitment to finasteride that would've prevented the fkn transplant from being necessary.

The real irony is the vast majority of men lose the fear at that point because the desperation and psychological pain of hair loss overrides it, and even if they get sides, they tweak the dose down until it doesn't cause issues. If that rational attitude was there early enough, it all could've been avoided.
