@TRT_Training_Hard so how did the last couple weeks go?
@Perrin Aybara Thanks for asking buddy!
Things are going ok. I had to stop the Anavar just shy of the end of 4 weeks due to aches.
I have extended my blast from 12 to 16 weeks to try and achieve all my goals while adding a few more pounds of muscle. I stopped the Var for 1 week and am now starting the Var again till the end of the blast. I was taking 50mg last time and am debating going up to 70mg for the final 2 weeks. I can’t get bloods done so I may not up the dose beyond the 50mg.
I am also now eating 4,000 calories and am weighing in at 97.5kg (214lbs) which isn’t bad for 6ft and considering my prevalent weight was 88kg (193lbs).
My measurement around my bellybutton (when not flexed) has stayed at 89cm (35 inches) for over a month. If I flex my abs it goes down to around 85cm or 33inches).
I will post updated measurements and pics shortly. My weight gain seems to have slowed significantly, unless the Anavar will help add some additional weight.
One annoying thing I have noticed is that when benching heavy one shoulder is raising up towards my head causing strain on the shoulder. It makes the whole lift look lopsided. I assume I am losing tightness in my back or not using my legs enough to anchor my shoulder. I am very frustrated.
On a positive note, I have surpassed my overhead press goal today with 4 reps at 89kg (176lbs).
I am also getting close to my squat goal as I hit 3 plates for 3 sets of 6 reps last squat day and week before that I hit 165kg (363lbs) for a friend triple. I find higher rep ranges When the weight gets heavy much tougher than a single or double or even a triple. I think it’s just keeping my body super tight for so long gasses me out.
As always, any advice is always appreciated.
