First blood test. Considering test + HGH. Advice please.

I’m considering starting testosterone and HGH to bring my physique to the next level. I’m 28 years old and trained from 13-23 but totally stopped. Now I’ve just started training again 5 months ago. So I decided to get some baselines so where I’m at. However, I was very surprised to see my total testosterone seems to be unusually high? Is there something I don’t know that can cause a significant inaccurate reading? Or maybe there was some kind of error? 1678 test and 58 estradiol seems too high.

I’m currently on 2mg of Reta for the last 6 weeks.

The only supplements I’m taking are normal ones like creatine, ahswaganda, tongkat Ali, fish oil etc. Also finasteride 1mg daily. But I don’t think anything here should cause my test to be so high. Previously I did take mk677 for 3 or so months but I’ve been off for about 8 weeks.

I’m 7 weeks into a cut and I have noticed my energy is somewhat down, strength a bit down, and libido significantly down so I’ll be adding carbs and running at maintenance or slightly above for a bit.

My next blood test will include:

Total testosterone
Free testosterone
Estradiol
LH
FSH
GH
IGF1

Do you have any recommendations on where to go from here? Am I ready to start test and GH? Or should I hold off?

Read this out loud to yourself and tell us what decision you land on
My age and training time has zero impact on my decision. It’s more about is my body ready in terms of health. Is everything in check to get started safely? Or If I have 1670 test, is it better to ride that out. Test my GH and IGF1, then consider maxing out IGF1 however I can with my levels of testosterone and estrogen.

I’ve already gained back 110% of the muscle I lost over the break. After 10 years of training I think it will be very fun to start enhancing to the next level.

Well, you just told us everything we need to know about

It would be nice if you were actually helpful instead of shitposting and trolling. But what should I expect. Do what u wanna do.

Like u could be less condescending and less cryptic and I will be really appreciative because I’m looking for honest help.

You're the one who shows up and can't figure out the rules like everyone else, says that they've been in the gym for 5 months, - and wants to know what drugs they should take ..... but I'm the troll :p

Go learn how to train honey. Learn nutrition.

Great. Keep chasing that. You are only 5 months in. If you've made that much progress you don't need drugs right now.

I'm not going to call you a liar with your test levels.... but come on dude. What group of people do you think you are talking to. Don't' think we've seen it before?

You are a beginner. Do the beginner shit.

What are you on about? I have 10+ years of training experience and I was a semi professional in strength sports. Coached pro American football players, trained with olympians and was coached by olympians. I’m not totally retarded, I just don’t know very much about drugs as I’ve only been learning about them the past few months. I just stated that I took a break from training. It sounds like you aren’t aware that you can build back previously lost muscle extremely quick.

When it comes to my lying about my test levels I get that. But that’s the whole reason I came here because I don’t understand why the came back so high. That’s why I was asking if something could have made the test come back too high. And that’s why I’m retesting and I’ll show LH and FSH etc whatever values to pinpoint what exactly is going on.

I really don’t understand why you have to be an asshole. Who hurt who you?

I dont think i've ever seen a natural test level that high. I would prob repeat it to make sure they didn't mix your blood sample with one of the other degenerates on this board.
Great. Thanks for the input. Definitely appreciate you!

Are you illiterate? Or just trolling? Is this what you do for fun? Get a life.
Dude

You've been back in the gym for 5 months

Don't be lazy

If an athlete came to you and said "I've been training again for a whole 5 months, is it time for drugs yet".... what would you tell them.

First and foremost I would assess their individual circumstances. I wouldn’t make gross assumptions, and I would consider their goals and lifestyle.

According to FFMI scale I’m considered an advanced gym user. Not a newbie. And I think FFMI is pretty valid.

Trying to judge your training maturity by using a scale is as newbie as it gets

Actually not. I highly disagree.

Regardless here is another test I took yesterday. It appears my 1678 testosterone was correct all along. Also included is my FSH and LH which along with my other previous markers should prove well enough I’m not lying. IMG_1506.webp

The rest of my bloodwork came back.

My IGF1 came in at 141. I often hear it’s stupid to take HGH without test but I have natural godly levels of test but mid IGF1. Therefore, I think in my particular case, taking HGH or a secretagogue to increase IGF1 would be the lowest risk highest return course of action.

Feedback welcome.

It can’t hurt to start there. There’s every chance Tesa would bring you to the very high end of physiological IGF range, something those using ~4iu rHGH are lucky to achieve, many needing more, with fewer sides and no diabetogenic concerns or dealing with timing of dose or food (makes no difference because of how it works, unlike rHGH). And it’s arguably the safest way to get a big boost in GH/IGF.

I don’t see your age, but I’ve you’re over 30, retaining the natural pulsation of GH release (a few minutes at a time) is much more effective than rHGH at getting rid of the visceral fat you’ve accumulated,
(No matter your overall body weight, IGF decline post 25yrs redistributes fat into visceral depots), over a 4-6 month 2mg/day Tesa cycle. That will Improve your metabolic health significantly (you’ll see it on lipid and inflammation markers, it’s not subtle).

After maxing out the visceral fat reduction, you can decide if you want to “graduate” to rHGH, for stronger anabolic and general anti aging effects, at the cost of more careful management (timing, food, blood glucose monitoring), increased sides, and higher risk.

As a bonus, the visceral fat loss will increase GH to IGF conversion efficiency, so in a sense the Tesa will “prep” your body for rHGH, allowing a lower, safer, less side effect inducing rHGH dose to give you a higher more anabolic muscle building IGF level.

I’m 28 years old.

Wow thanks for the recommendation. I think this is a very logical and calculated plan. The way you put it definitely makes sense. Ill do more deeper research on Tesa.
