First cycle ever at 40

The Anabolic Steroid book by Michael Llewelyn. Used to be able to order it via this site. I found it very informative however reading posts on this site would be just as good. However I do like to read it in the evening to get as much information as possible on what I am doing. Regards.

I'm in my late 40's and relatively new to the game. Got involved thru HRT b/c bloodwork came back showing very low normal T. So I stay on at 125mg of T Cyp per week, but 1 or 2 times per year I increase the test a bit and add in some Deca plus just finished up about 9 months of HGH. Based upon my own humble experience I would suggest you try low doses for your 1st cycle. Over a couple of years I've gone from 185 lbs (with some fat) to 205 with 9% BF. I'm 6 ft tall. And I've gotten ALOT stronger and faster. I like playing sports and the performance impact has been dramatic for me At lower doses you won't need to worry as much about estrogen, DHT and bloat issues. You then have the option of increasing your doses during subsequent cycles. My recent 10 week cycle I just finished - 150 mg Test Cyp plus 200 mg Deca per week . 2iu GH eod . I am sad it's over b/c I feel like Tarzan. Just my 2 cents .....

Yes it is an excellent book. I have learned a lot from it and always have a reference I can turn to. That book mixed with our own experience and experiences from others on these boards helps a lot. You also learn to determine what is true, what is not and what will work for ourselves.

Cool, thanks. I bought it as well and have found it very helpful, but it's always nice to learn more and find out what others are reading. Cheers.
