Hi all,

I would like to thank in advance for your time and help.
I'm 36 5'8 150lbs. Don't drink alcool, healthy diet and no health problems.
I've been training 4 to 5 times a week for the past 16 years, and managed to go up from 126 lbs 8% bf to where I am today. Geneticaly I can tell you my father is 5'9 117lbs with 6%bf and gained 1 lbs after a prescribed nandrolone cycle.

I am have been researching cycles, and like most newcomers stumbled upon Anavar. I've read all the opinions around but what I'm looking for is a mild gain cycle that would help me gain a few pounds (3 to 4) and reduce my bf down by 4% while continuing my training and diet.

The most important part is it needs to be an oral steroid.

What is your opinion, what protection should I use and pct with it.

Thank you again

Why does it need to be oral only?

Took 16 years to put on 24lbs of muscle. 8% bodyfat is pretty fucking lean I mean there really isn't much further you can go until it's unhealthy and you feel like shit. If you've now hit 150lbs and moved up in bodyfat that makes your net gain of muscle over 16 years even smaller than 24lbs. You are either embellishing the 16 years or you're leaving something out but more than likely your routine and or diet is not quite as good as you think is. Jumping on a AAS to gain 4lbs of muscle just sounds so stupid when you read it out loud lol. Bulk up then cut down you can gain that 4lbs of muscle in weeks without aas, don't be a dipshit.

if you have to hide it don't use it , why would you want to be 4% bodyfat ? most guys don't have any idea how lean that is, you go into a contest at 4 % it is not a maintainable body fat percentage. at 4% you have to be very muscular or you will look like an aids patient.

Why would you want to be walking around at 4%. Besides being unhealthy there is no reason to do so or any benefit.

Are you trying to compete in a physique class of some sorts?

Oral steroids can be hard on the liver, and absorption levels are poor and unpredictable. I've turned sick several times on orals only, can wear you down.

More importantly be very careful about your Anavar source - it's an expensive steroid, making it a dream to copy and create fakes.

Also consider this - it will shut you down hard. What typically happens is that you will have great results when on, struggle through PCT, and 6 months later realize you've spent $700 on a cycle plus food only to have lost all them gainz again.

One thing to keep in mind that I have yet to see a freak built on orals only. There might be a reason or two for that, ya know?

Safe, D

Ok, thanks. Yes my bf is now 12%. It is true my 16 years are not straight, I meant I have been training for 16 years, but I would have to say that sometimes I'll train for 2 years and then stop for 6 months others times train for 6 months stop for 2 months. It is a bit discouraging when it's that hard to gain. 2 years ago I tried bulking and got to 150lbs with 18%bf, changed my diet and reduced bf and maintained the weight, but never managed to go over that weight. But I believe you are right, it is probably a good idea to not do a cycle.

Going for the classic do you even lift/crackhead/aids patient look. I guess dad bodies are out and meth body is in these days? I don't really know I don't stay up on these trends lol

It sounds like you're naturally a lean person. Why not grab a mass gainer protein shake mix and go on a heavy bulk for a few months running a push/pull/legs routine and you'd probably gain a pretty good bit of muscle and from the sounds of it you would lean up pretty easily. I started a PPL routine back in February and I'm up 16lbs while maintaining the same waste line and bodyfat % and that's before I started pinning again which is now going on week 3.

I guess I should give it another go. I've tried that before without much results, but since turning 35 I've noticed a change in my capacity to lean up. I never thought about it in the way you put it. Using a steroid with my bf and weight I would probably have a aids patient look, but then again that's a bit how I have been feeling for a long time, therefore the reason I had the idea of starting this thread. Thanks big poppa.

Sorry Mands I guess I messed it up. I'm currently at 14% and would not mind going back to my old 8% or 10%. I also don't mind maintaining my 14%, I am just strugling to go over 150 for the past... 4 years I guess.

Want everything at home to stay cool. A pill can be a multivitamin, a zma or a cod liver oil, a needle is just gonna bring problems.

Don't consider using steroids until you understand why you should not run an oral only cycle.

I kind of understand Paul. I've read about liver toxicity, body absorption, targeting. To be honest posting helped ease my mind and gave some motivation to keep going naturally. I haven't weighted myself for the past 2 months because I didn't want to be demotivated, but decided to do so now and hey I've gained 4lbs. I'm the heaviest I've ever been in my life. Thanks all
