First Cycle Log. Test E

Just started my first cycle and I'm going to keep a log here for myself and anyone interested. Did an introduction post previously and had several responses saying too young or too small, but I have done plenty of research and weighed the pros/cons, and I'm comfortable with my decision.

168lb

Planning for a 12 week cycle at 500mg Test E per week.
Have arimidex for AI and nolva/clomid for pct.

Goal is to gain as much mass as I can. Starting calories around 3500, will add more later on if needed.

1/27: First pin of 250mg Test E using 1.5" 25g. Watched and read plenty of tutorials, but was still pretty nervous for this. Pinned right glute and went very slow with everything. Oil was a little harder to push through than I expected and had to make some adjustments to technique, but got it done. No blood or pain from injection. Was a little shaky by the end though lol. Some soreness last couple days, but honestly less than I expected, especially considering the time I took and potential moving during the injection. Overall very satisfied and more confident for tomorrow's injection.

Updating with more info about training. I don’t have set days or workouts. I go by my body and how I'm feeling. I like to leave some flexibility to my routine. I enjoy my workouts and don't take many off days. I don't try to go too heavy on a lot of exercises. I prefer to drop the weight some and do slower, strict reps and just really focus on the muscle. I do a lot of supersets and high volume workouts. I've always done this to an extent, but I was in an accident a couple years back and had some serious injuries that took a lot of recovery and time to get back to where I was in the gym. Since then, I train with a little lighter weights and eliminated and changed certain exercises I do. I know I might not use optimal training methods for some people, but I've seen plenty of progress and it's just how I like to train.

Workout routine for the past week

Mon: Shoulders/traps/abs
Tues: Arms
Wed: Back/calves
Thurs: Chest/tris/abs

Today's Chest/tris workout
Chest is one of my stronger bodyparts, and easy for me to get a good workout. I add more back days now because my chest has always been more developed and I think the cause for some of my rolled shoulder posture issues in the past. Don't do any barbell chest exercises. Mostly flies and cable type exercises.

Update on last injections.

Read a lot about front-loading for long esters prior to starting cycle. Mixed opinions, but a lot in favor. Went ahead and did 250mg first pin to see how I reacted and everything went great. Decided to do 500 for 2nd pin and got significantly more pip. Nothing too bad or unbearable. May have something to with switching to left glute as well, as I feel a little more stable on the right side since I am right handed. Last 2 pins were back to 250, which is what I will continue throughout the cycle, and went pretty well.

Starting taking arimidex this week. 0.25mg eod. Will get blood test around week 5

Going to try to add a sample of every workout at the beginning stage of cycle for reference at the end.

Last back workout

Pull-ups 5sets 8-10 reps

This was first time doing Deadlifts in almost 5 months. Was previously on a cut and lost about 35lbs. During that time I cut out Deadlifts and squats bc I didn't really have the motivation to do them on a deficit. But getting back to it now.

Superset
Rope straight arm pulldowns 80lbs 3sets 10

Barbell rows 135lb 3sets 6-10 reps
