First Cycle: Pre Contest Prop & Mast

What's up everyone, I'm going to be logging my first cycle which will be a pre contest cycle. I will be prepping for a Men's Physique (Class D) show on April 11th.

Some background:
Age: 21
BF %: 8-9
Height: 6'1
Weight: 195
Years of Lifting: ~5 years
Current caloric intake: 3200

I plan on getting my pro card within the next two years. I've competed in two shows so far (Nov 2014 & Dec 2014) where I placed 3rd novice and 5th open for both shows. From my experience, my class tends to be the most stacked out of all of them, I was one of the smaller guys. Keep in mind this is at the amatuer level, so it will only get more difficult at the national level. Here's what I have planned for this cycle:

Week 1-6
Test Prop 150 EOD (600 per week)
Mast P 100 EOD (400 per week)

Week 6-10
Anavar 60mg ED

Week 7-9
Test Prop 100 EOD (400 per week)
Mast Prop 150 EOD (600 per week; will be ran until Week 10, day of show)
HCG 250 IU's twice a week (total of 500 IU's per week; will be ran until PCT)

PCT Week 10-15
Clomid 50/50/25/25/12.5
Nolva 40/20/20/20/10
Aromasin 12.5/12.5/7.5/7.5/0

I will be using Arimidex 0.5mg EOD (will adjust dosing based on symptoms, side effects, and blood work). I will be switching to Aromasin mid cycle once it arrives, meanwhile I will use the adex.

Reasoning behind structure of cycle:
Many of you might be wondering why I'm running a short Esther like prop, the reason is because it has a shorter half life and is in and out of your system quicker. Many people have said that prop holds less water as well which is ideal for me considering this a pre contest cycle. Prop will be used at a high dosage of 600 per week from weeks 1-6, then tapered down to 400 per week from weeks 7-9. Mast P is used as a hardener. Starting at a low dose of 400 per week, then up to 600 per week once test is tapered down.

Did my first injection today. 150 prop and 100 mast. PIP isn't bad at all, but there's definitely some there. Aspirated and air bubbles come up. Weird cause I can slightly taste it in my mouth. Also took my 0.5mg of Arimidex. So far so good!
 
Did back about an hour and a half after injection. Felt amazing. Might be placebo but I felt a crazy pump on my arms lats and shoulders. Shirt felt a little tighter and my diets been staying the same. 50 grams of carb powder pre workout and my veins were popping out. Only problem was that I had a calf pump while on the stair master. Started to become uncomfortable after a while. Injection spot is slowly getting more sore. But nothing bad, it won't stop me from doing legs tomorrow (hopefully). Calories are currently at 3000. Will alter based on how my body responds to it
 
PIP is getting pretty bad now. Right quad hurts like hell now. No redness or swelling, just hurts. I guess this is part of the process especially considering I'm using prop and I have virgin muscles lol
 
Yeah, that's the what happens with prop and virgin muscles, especially quads. I remember I could hardly walk. But I also had shitty injection techniques. Good luck I will be following along
 
I know your pain brother, im in the same boat as you right now. Itll take a couple of days before it gets better. Next time you can try glutes, it hurts less. I prefer quads tough.
 
Yeah I woke up this morning and PIP was still a pain. I took 400mg ibuprofen last night and that helped but it weared off by this morning. Will try glutes next time, only thing is that it's hard to do a self injection back there lol

Anyways, here are some progress pictures taken this morning. Weighed in at 205 so I'm holding some water and fat (was 200 last week). No worries tho as my prep started yesterday. Will probably be doing chest instead of legs today due to bad PIP. Hopefully it gets better

Yeah thats the reason I only do quads, I also hit a vein last time in my glutes.
Also try to take a hot shower before/after you pin, warm the oil up a bit under hot water and massage the area you inject for 5 mins.
 
Took another 400mg of ibuprofen and the pain is much much less severe. Gonna go hit chest/shoulders right now. Looking forward to my next injection tomorrow, but not looking forward to the PIP lol. It'll all be worth it though!
 
Did my second shot today. Same thing 150 prop 100 mast. Did it in my glutes this time and went in smooth as a butter, no pain no blood nothing (had the gf do it). Let's see by tomorrow how the PIP is. Hopefully it's not as bad as quads where I can't even walk.

Currently eating 2900 calories: 313 protein, 250 carbs, 68 fat. Smashed on shoulders today, had a great pump. It feels like right after the injection I have an increase of blood flow and my veins really start popping out. Could be in my head but the same thing happened last time. I also feel like I'm slowly getting fuller and leaner.

Hopefully the PIP becomes much less severe so I can start training legs again, meanwhile I'm just hitting calves, doesn't seem to be a problem although I'm still taking 400mg ibuprofen
 
About 6 hours have passed since the injection and the pain is slowly getting a little harsher but NO WHERE as bad as quads. I have a good feeling about using glutes as my site to pin!

Also forgot to mention in the previous posts that I've had minor test flu symptoms. They usually come strong during the night time, and as soon as I wake up in the morning it's completely gone. Symptoms are just chills, sweats, feeling cold and hot. Besides that, I notice myself sweating a lot more. Nothing too bad though, just thought I'd share
 
Thinking about throwing in some dbol 50mg ED for the next 3-4 weeks to get that full look. Anyone wanna chime in on this?

You will get that full of water look. At least that has been my experience. Even with AI and clean diet DBOL gives me bad moon face and wreaks havoc on my BP.

Yeah that's what everyone's experience seems to me. Maybe I'll hold off on it for now lol

So anyways I woke up this morning with PIP in my glutes unfortunately. And my first quad injection site is still hurting but slowly getting a little better. But it's a real pain in the ass (literally). Soon enough I'm going to be running out of injection sites. All I have left is my left glute and I really don't want to do my left quad cause that will cripple me so bad. Anyone have any experience with cutting prop with a sterile oil like GSO? Maybe that will make it better? At this point I dont see myself training legs at all due to the pain
 
Just ordered some sterile and filtered Grapeseed Oil. I got express shipping 1-2 days so hopefully it arrives by tomorrow so I can use it with my injection lol. Really hoping that the GSO helps. I'm planning on doing 150 prop, 100 mast, and .5 cc of gso. Total of 3 ml's of oil. Although it's high volume, hopefully the muscle will tolerate it and will relieve some pain.

The PIP on my glute is definitely there but it's not as bad as quads. It just hurts to sit down. Anyone know if it will be safe to alternate each glute for my EOD injections?
 
I never got bloated taking all the Dbol pre workout. I will never take Dbol on leg or back day, lower back pumps are crippling.

I've heard mix reviews when it comes to dbol for a contest prep. A lot of people have had success using it in the beginning of the cycle and once they cycle off the bloat is pretty much gone by the time the contest is near. Honestly, I'm already running anavar mid way through cycle so I think one oral should be enough.

Also considering Letro for the last 3 weeks to really dry out. Anyone think this is a good idea? Or should I just stick with Aromasin and/or adex. I've heard great success with Letro really minimizing any bloat and coming in dry as hell
