First cycle soon

I'm back. Took time off from forums for awhile. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
Made some decent gains without any help from gear and I feel it's time to move forward with a cycle now as I'm at a plateau. I admit I was scared of gear and still sort of am. I don't have a thyroid anymore and that is my main concern....that my lack of thyroid and gear won't negatively interact and cause me problems.
Here is my current routine....

Mon...quads/calves/abs
Tues....Chest/biceps/shoulders
Wed...off
Thurs....Glutes/hamstrings...abs
Fri....Back/triceps

Not much cardio right now.

Calories in 1770...but I think 2000 works better.
5'7
46yrs old
138 lbs
Upside down triangle body type... Gain most fat up top. :(

Deadlift....135x8
Bench....95lbs 4x8
Squat atg...85lbs..4x8

As you can see, my legs are weak with squat. Always have been leg weak, but I can leg press 275 for 8...but squat numbers suck.

Will post pics when I get the courage to do so.

I want some size, especially in quads. Glutes have no problem growing, but quads are slow. Have a thick back already, don't need size there.
Don't know what's wrong with my metabolism, either. Can't shed last layer of fat no matter what I do. Confused about that. Did try cardio with lifting, no luck...and it was tabata, not an hour long cardio session. Usually sprint hills in intervals for cardio.

Thinking of a Primo cycle from reading some other cycle logs. Possibly Sustanon.

Welcome back!! Are you tracking your macros? I've found it really helps. Both from an accountability pov and to ensure you're hitting everything you need to.

Thanks Wendy!

Yes, I track my macros. I'm at 40-30-30 on 2000 Cal/day now. See if an increase from 1770 helps. But, with no thyroid, my metabolism might suck no matter what...even on optimum levels, which are kept towards hyperthyroid levels.

I eat my starchy carbs in the am with first meal. Taper starches off by third meal. Fibrous carbs with protein for remainder of meals, with exception of last meal which is usually plain Greek yogurt, tsp honey, and handful oats with seeds mixed in.

You know primo and sustanon are two different things, right?
I know they are different, yes. Other than that, I don't know anything about gear as I have not tried it. Only going by what I read on these forums and Internet....which is confusing. Lol

Welcome back girl! We briefly talked in pm's this morning and I wanted to catch up on your thread to see what your set up looks like.

@Eman - yes she does know the difference between Sust and Primo, we originally talked about her incorporating some test to help her with energy, sex drive, overall feeling of well being - seemed as the right route at the time and also based on her age.

Anyway, I think the first thing you need to do and I can add more detail if you wish, is adjust your diet. If this is the set up you have now then that explains why you aren't getting much result wise. Your current maintenance with your activity level, you should be at 2,013 cals. That's just to maintain. If you are wanting to lose fat then you will need to drop your cals and possibly adjust your food choices. @Wendylifts can tell you how quick your body goes into a fat burning mode once you adjust things and food choices. Although I am sure she didn't like me very much on her low carb days ;) Even off cycle. So for you, you should be anywhere between 1,013-1,513 cals a day depending how fast you want to lose it and how dedicated you are. PLUS we are all here as your support system!

As for training, you need to continue and add cardio. You can continue with the style of your choice but even daily 30 min low intensity cardio will help big time. Ideally HITT is the way to go... if you can handle it, do 10-15mins of it at least 4 times a week.

Low carb days are of the devil.

Test would be good... I'd be VERY apprehensive to see any female run sustanon though. The biggest reason is the fact it contains such a long ester in it. Way too complicated for a female to bother with. Short esters much easier to manage.

Actually quite the opposite... there are many females that respond very well to it and we are talking amounts as small as 10-15mg a week (taken once per week). Especially in females over 40 or ones post menopause as the combination of different esters, from the drop of test prop to the long esters, it has given ladies good balance.

Thank you GG!
I'll adjust my calories. I wasn't hungry on 1700 Cal, but we'll see what happens at lower numbers.
I'll PM you with my diet specifics. But sadly I'm not vegetarian, wish I could be.
I can do HITT and was considering running 3x a week even though sprinting is more fun and takes less time. Lol.
I wonder why my pictures won't show up in PM. They are awaiting approval for the thread.

You don't need to be a vegetarian... I don't think I would survive as one! lol

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. For a female to experiment with a blend that contains test decanoate in it is not only unnecessary it's unsafe.

Try a short ester first to assess and then play wth one of the longest esters there is.

Good call humpy ;) I'll see if I can dig up some info for you as I had it bookmarked on another board and the ladies that I know who are on it, are doing great.

But anyway, we aren't going that route, that's old news. Miss ILUV2LIFT has other plans and goals in mind, so that's off the table.
