Wanting to finally get active on the forum after spending some months just reading and soaking up some knowledge.
I’m 36 yo, been lifting on and off since playing football in high school. Really started my fitness journey in 2022 at 5’7” 275 lbs. I’ve struggled with addiction my whole adult life so between meth, heroin, fentanyl, and brief periods of sobriety, life has been a roller coaster.
Now 3 years sober and 3 years into my fitness journey, I’m weighing in at 155 lbs which is actually 20 lbs up from my lowest weight a couple months ago. From May to August I cut down to 133 with Reta. I started 300mg test, 3iu gh, and anavar on training days in August and have put on 20 lbs, most of which is probably water/glycogen weight since my diet hasn’t changed much.
Honestly the weight gain has kind of freaked me out because it’s come on fast, but I was definitely too skinny at 133. Very much victim weight. I’m loving the changes in the look of my physique even tho some clothes are fitting a bit tighter. After a lifetime of being overweight, any weight gain is somewhat disconcerting.
Anyway that’s a bit of my story. Glad to be here and a part of this community.
