First the gyms closed, them meso.......

Piss off. Keep it up and i'll turn your sleepy source thread into a noob friendly directory of every competing source you have here.

September? That's the end of the school year in the US. Wonder how they'll handle the pass/fail situation?

You can't really graduate students that never completed the work. Then again with our education system here in the states, no one would ever know the difference.
September is start of the next school year. I have heard in my province the possibility of online classes. Another province is taking current average mark and passing them to next grade. But the new generation doesnt get to fail they get passed no matter what as no one wants to hurt their feelings, a joke for sure

My work is still open...but a whole lot of other businesses are closed. This pandemic, coupled with another major issue that my employer is trying to work through could result in layoffs. I'm really hoping not.

Ouch you aren't alone!

D'oh. You're correct. September starts the school year here too. Not sure what i was thinking? Strike that from my previous post.

The only thing keeping me going is I make spare parts for one of the largest meat processing equipment maker in the world. With people clearing out the shelves of all meat in all supermarkets the spares aspect of our business is starting to ramp up since processing plants are working double time to restock. It takes roughly 4 to 5 weeks for a chicken to reach market size so I expect its going to hit the fan again in 4 to 5 weeks as well. I can tell by the fleet of chicken trucks heading to the processors every morning that things are running full blast and the chicken farms are gonna be pushing hard to get trucks loaded and off to the market. I live near the largest concentration of meat and chicken processing plants in the country and maybe the world so I got a pretty good barometer of what's going down on the food supply situation.
