First time, Test E only, 500/wk

Test E, GP, bought from Moldava back in March. Waited a while to verify some health stuff first.

I did a pre cycle blood test, came back with a test level of about 250. That made me decide to see my doctor about possible TRT. He called for another test, different lab, which came back around 500, so he doesn't feel TRT makes sense. I plan on doing, on my own, a test after five weeks on cycle to see where things are.

Have Aromosin on hand, also GP. Only going to use if seems to be needed. I used to be a fat boy living on beer and potatoes and never grew titties, hopefully won't get gynecomastia symptoms from this.

40 years old. Been working out at least three days a week for two years. Plus usually a day of cardio, running or skating. 6'3", right now at 235#.

Pinned 125mg Wednesday. Intended to go 250 but I've never done this before and didn't account for the pull back on the syringe, only drew half what I thought i was getting. Decided to run with it anyway since it was my first time. Stuck my right glute. That was new. I hate shots but it was easier than I expected. Once you're through the skin it goes right on in.

The weird crampy feeling in the muscle was unexpected but went away quickly. I massaged it then took the dog for a long walk after pinning.

I'm not dead yet, lol.

Plan to pin again Sunday and make sure I get the full 1ml this time.
 
I've always used Nolvadex and Clomid for my PCT when I'm not cruising. I know a couple people one here on Meso that only use Nolvadex for PCT. I've never tried it so I can't really comment on how effective it is by itself.

I've read so many arguments for one or the other or both. Finally chose to do just the Nolva to see how it goes. Also, if I do get unpleasant side effects I'll know exactly where they're coming from if I'm only on one med at a time.
 
I wasn't thinking about the full plan. I have Nolva for pct.

I suggest you get a full plan in mind.

I'm not sure I understand the thinking you drew 250 but only got 125 because you didn't account for the plunger? For future reference it is fine to stick it back in and pull out more if you need to, just make sure you are changing out pins before injecting either way.

A good way to do it is to pull back however many cc's of air you want to inject. Then push that air into the vial. Once you let go it should automatically draw about that amount of oil into the barrel.. Then You can fine tune from there.

Also, no worries if you were to pin 1.5cc to make up for your missed dose, and then resume as normal next week. No biggie either way really though.

Goodness why does everyone believe PCT is etched in stone for even those who are considering AAS use, lol!

And to even think about dual SERM therapy after TRT doses of TT is ..........like saying one size fits all and nothing can be further from the truth ESPECIALLY in medicine.

OP WHY have you decided to use AAS and what are your short term and long term objectives?

First define what your TT, E-2 and LH baseline is. This is very important especially at your age bc it may help determine whether TRT is in your future regardless of PCT or TT use.

Didn't say I don't have a plan, just wasnt thinking about it when I made my post. Planning on going 40/d two weeks then 20/d two weeks starting three weeks after my last pin.

I pulled what looked like a full ml into the syringe but when I took the needle out of the vial it sprung back from the vacuum on it to just over 1/2 ml. I'm pretty sure I should have just pulled it a little slower. I did inject air into the vial to try to equalize pressure ahead of time. This was my first time ever injecting anything into myself. As much as I used to party I never did get as far as needle drugs, lol.
 
Pinned 1.5 ml this morning as to rigs suggestion. If for no other reason just to keep an even amount in the vial.
I was much more patient filling my syringe this time and actually got the amount I intended.

Left glute definitely harder seeing as I'm right handed. First try I hit something that made me twitch down my leg. I got paranoid I was in a bad spot so I tried again, all fine on the second try.

I've read the good and bad about quad injections. I think I'm going to try that next.

No weight change. I'd be kind of worried if there were.

In the blood work I had done on.my own in March to get an idea of my pre-cycle numbers my total test level was 266 ng/dl, LH was 4.8 mIU/ml, estradiol was 11.8 pg/ml.

I shared that test with my doctor as the t levels were so low. Didn't tell him I was planning on a steroid cycle, told him I'd had bedroom issues, tiredness, been hearing radio ads, hypochondria, blah blah blah.

He ordered another round of blood work, lots of general check up stuff too, that hormone wise only checked total test and free test. As of mid may my total test was 410 ng/dl, free test was 82.2 pg/dl.

He felt everything looked normal and said he'll see me in a year.
 
Did squats, amongst other stuff, this morning. Walking home after working out noticed that Sunday's injection site is a little swollen and sore. Is this anything to stress about? Probably looked funny walking down the street massaging my ass cheek.

Just keep an eye on it. If it gets red and warm to the touch it could be an infection. The gear I'm using right now swells up and is sore as heck for a few days so I wouldn't get to alarmed as of yet.
Edit: the fact that you done squats will more than likely help it because it gets the blood flowing better threw that area. I use a heat pad on my ass at night to help it. Good luck brother and welcome to our world [emoji41]
 
Wow. So I was wrong about the PIP not being as bad. Yesterday as the day progressed, I was pretty lazy all day, it started to really knot up on me. It feels like I got frog punched near the injection site.
About to go to the gym now, hoping a good warm up brings mobility back.
 
Pinned my left glute this morning. Went about halfway between knee and hip this time. Last time was a little closer to the knee.
Injected as slowly as I could manage. Still didt take a full minute like I saw someone on here suggest. Playing with needles still makes me nervous, so I'm pretty amped while doing it. I did seriously concentrate on staying steady and straight this time.
After injecting I massaged it a while and then wrapped it tightly before taking the dog for a run. I'm hoping that helps distribute the oil some and reduces the PIP tomorrow.
I'm only.injecting twice a week but as much hassle as my left glute was I'd like to be able to make the quads a regular site too.

I've gained about five.pounds. I'm pretty sure I can write that off to normal fluctuation though. In the gym I feel more energized but at this point I'm assuming that's placebo effect. My mind figures I'm paying for this stuff, gotta go.beast mode and get my money's worth.

Fellow I train with is worried about me strengtheningy muscles faster than my tendons can adapt. Is that a thing?

He knows diet and fitness stuff but lifting beyond simple conditioning is new territory to him. He comes from a fight background. He's seen people hurt themselves, muscle/tendon/ligamnt damage, while on gear, but I figured that's probably just getting too fired up and over doing things in the ring.
 
The extra care I took this.morning seems to be helping. I have no noticeable PIP at the moment. We'll see what it's like tomorrow.
 
A little soreness during this morning workout. Walking fine, had a hell a time balancing for one legged squats.

Buddy has suggested delts. He gets the awful knee thing with quads. I may try that next. Maybe. If I get a super sore knot there it would be detrimental to my work so I'm thinking about it.

Wore myself down hard in the gym this morning but by the time I made it home I was ready to go again. That's a nice feeling.
 
Pinned my right glute this morning. Had a hell of a time. I think I was too asleep still to be handling sharp objects.

I'm pretty sure that my recovery time is up from.normal. Much less DOMS than normal and just post workout energy levels are much higher. I guess I need to start working harder.
 
I was worried I'd have rough PIP today. Like I posted I had trouble injecting yesterday, wound up sticking myself three times. First time it seemed the needle was going in too hard, second time it hurt more than I feel it should have, third time everything went right.

Guess I got lucky, I'm not feeling much today. I did dead lifts and one arm snatches as part of my work out yesterday so those muscles got used and the rest of the day I was pretty active. Running around doing errands all day, built a new home for a member of my menagerie, etc...
 
Would I lose all my gains immediately if I joined the yellow and purple not gym so I would have a place I could go work out in the evenings after work?

I often don't get out of there shop until close to midnight and there is a not gym five minutes from work.
