First time TRT

Hello everyone, I'm 35 and my pcp recently talked to me about starting androgel. I had some bloodwork done a few weeks ago and my total T was ~190ng/dl. Now I've been curious about going on TRT for a number of years, but every time I've gotten tested I came back in the mid-normal range despite having low T symptoms most of my life, eg. depression/anxiety, can't gain much muscle or lose fat, insomnia, low assertiveness and sex drive.

This time I might not have been living the healthiest lifestyle (beer, no sleep) the night before the draw and that is likely why my numbers came back so low. Though I'm wondering whether I'd be able to get it under 200 if I wasnt low to begin with. In any case, I'd like to see how I do on some cypionate, but it sounds like my dr. is hesitant to prescribe anything injectable. Can anyone recommend some medical literature on taking Tcyp over androgel so I can bring it to my next appointment? Any additional feedback is also welcome.

As a side note, I tried cialis for the first time the other day. If you haven't tried it, if not for ed/eq, then at least for the pumps at the gym, give it a go cause it's awesome! I've got some rui cia and some tadacip coming in the mail this week and I'll give my opinion on how they compare to the name brand stuff once I take them for a spin.

From what I've read the androgel is actually better for erections/libido. There are a lot more knowledgeable people on here, but it has something to do with a higher DHT conversion. Try this website. These guys are legit with actual knowledge that is not readily found. Defymedical.com. Lots of videos and literature

Thanks for the link. The only related article I found on that site was one supporting gels over injections. My major issues have been depression and gaining muscle, the cialis seems to be taking care of the erection issues. It sounds like the gel causes more problems like baldness and higher estrogen, which is why I'd prefer the injections.

I would tell the doctor that you are very hesitant to use androgel as it may rub off onto your wife through physical contact and cause an imbalance with her hormones..who knows, may work?

Thanks xrage. That's a good idea, I'm not married but I have a kid, and I really don't want to have any rub off on him accidentally, so hopefully the doc will accept that and give me the cyp. I have an appt next week and I'll post an update

It took longer than expected to get in to see my doctor and it was a disappointing visit. My test was at ~330 and technically within whatever normal range he was basing it off of when he said I "clearly don't need trt." He didn't check for e2 or any of the other standard tests for trt. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I was thinking of ordering some UGL test C, but I'm not sure where to start.

On a positive note, I've noticed good results from tadacip and rui liquid cia. I'm going to run clomid alongside the tadalafil as I read that it's an alternative to trt in its own right
