Well, as both the topic and my name give way- I am new to the whole idea of body transoformation with the usage of aas. I have done hours upon hours or researching and talked to a few people who "used" to gear up, but as of late no luck on gearing myself up. I was also curious at what age you would all reccomend starting, and I guess really at what age you would consider to be too young? I have had some people say I am too young to try it yet because my testosterone levels are high enough- but at 18 I can't beat 280 on the flat bench and its pissin me off! Besides, with the research I have done it sounds like they are completely safe if done in an educated way- any thoughts or info would be apprecaited, thanks

Thanks for your reply- I eat whole grains, fish, protien, fruits and I get 2400 cals a day- I also train 5 days a week strenuously- but I'll take your word, I imagine you have more experience- thanks for the tip. If there are anymore out there- let me know though- thanks again

Whats your height, weight, and training look like?

No matter what your weight is right now, your not getting enough calories. And my guess is not enough Protein either.

Im bulking right now. I weigh 205. I make sure I get at least 320+ grams of protein(try to get 400). I get at least 4500 calories a day.

There are guys here alot more experienced than me, but this is a good base. If your not doing this, along with training right, and getting enough sleep, then it doesn't matter if you take AAS, or not..

Good luck.

Bro, don't start using AAS yet cause you will regret it later.I was natural for 10 years before I turned to roids and I did the right thing by waiting.Learn how to train and diet and wait at least 3-5 more years.Besides...why do you care so much about what you bench? Are you a powerlifter? Even if you are, you can still get to 280 naturally, it's not that big of a number.

I'm not a powerlifter- but I would like to be able to gain more size and power in my workout. I have been training really hard now for probably a little over a year- but i have hit a road block that seems damn near impossible to get over- I was under the impression that around 100 g of protien a day was enough, so I will try trippling that and increasing my caloric intake about 1000, but won't that produce more fat mass and not lean?

Quite the contrary, and you should take in 1.5 grams protein/lb bodyweight. Everyone that has posted is right on the money...you know this or you wouldn't be reading our replies. Go to the training forum and pick out a new routine. You need to change it every 8 weeks to keep shocking your muscles. Diet/training/rest...the "secret" recipe.

Peace

alright, thanks for all the advice- I will start looking for a new training schedule and hold of on the aas. I am curious though why you all started gearing up for workouts if natural is the way to go?

Because we are/were at out natural limitations. We did exactly what we are advising you to do, got the diet and training right, and let mother nature do the rest. I was 36 when I started AAS, definitely at my natural limit and my natural test levels, as planned by mother nature, started dropping. There are many that will suggest that you can expect to put on 40lbs of muscle with AAS over several years. Now if you weigh 160 right now then you'll be at 200...you're done. No more natural growth because you've screwed up your natural test generation. On the other hand, with the info you've received, you WILL pack on lots of natural muscle and lets say u hit 200 naturally (natural limits), and decide to use AAS and pack on another 40lbs over the years. You'll be a 240 pound beast, strong as an ox because your muscle tissue is much stronger than had you relied on AAS alone. In a nutshell, use the natural juice in your body that mother nature gave you and when that runs out, then switch to the artificial. And btw, 280 on bench at 18 is fuckin awesome bro!!! Great job!!

I think you're doing great considering you're only 18.Dude...if you're not a powerlifter, try not to pay attention to how much you bench.I can make 10 lbs dumbbells feel like they weigh 80 lbs on lateral raises.that's what being a bodybuilder all about.Of course I still squat and do other things but I never go over 405 lbs on a squat. Can I do it? Yes.Is there a point? No.Best of luck.

up your protien and calories, listen to the above posts.
also, change your training around and stay off the sauce until you fix up these problems first.
