Flat feet anyone?

Essentially my squats and leg training is suffering immensely. It doesn’t help I stand for 8-10 hours a day in the same place. But really just seeing if anyone’s conquered this issue. I’ve had flat feet most of my life that got worse when I ended up needing back surgery 6ish years ago.

If you have flat feet you know what I’m talking about. My lower back is constantly tight. Squatting down my knees want to cave in unless I’m forcing arches into my feet. It takes away a lot of focus on the movement and has been preventing me adding a decent amount of weight. Any movements you found to correct this issue? Any shoe recommendations? I’m dying to squat comfortably and get my hip flexibility back. I’ve been grinding them open for months and it just will not get any better.

Anyone have success in fixing this?

I have it, best thing would be get doctor orthodics. They are 600$, but worth it. Mine ended up breaking and I found the running shoes called Brooks work well. I like the Brooks Revel 4 or 5. No pain when standing with these somehow.

Also jumproping barefoot is great flat feet exercise even though it kills the bottom of feet.

wore my converse the other day but could only stand 5 minutes before i had to get my feet off the ground from pain.

I forget how much flat feet effect the whole alignment of body. Makes sense my lower back kills squatting.

I totally attribute my knee pain to flat feet, the week after i got doctor prescribed orthodics my knee didnt hurt anymore.

I feel your pain.

There are exercises that work for flat feet, like walking on toes barefoot, walking on heels. Etc.

It helped me, picking anatomical styles for my problems. The doctor specially made me styles for me and I felt relieved.

They also helped me reduce pain and positive dynamics, stand on needles, first plastic, then metal. They seem to improve blood flow and the foot begins to feel better.
