A piece of my rubber stopper, broke in my vials, i refiltered. Is that good? Is it still sterile? As i reused the stoppers to many times, also 22 gauge is to big. So grabbing 23 gauge.

But as long as my sterile practices are good, and i refiltered, the gear is perfect again?

I've refiltered test a few times after stopper broke up, using a .22 filter.

Making me feel wreckless over here.
I had a piece of stopped break off while drawing. I've used that vial a few times since there, I just hold the vial up to the light and make sure nothing going in the needle.

After just writing out what im doing, I'll probably toss the vial and move on

You can use the vial again, for different brew just replace the rubber stoppers/metal portion, after cleaning and sterilising. Imo no point in throwing out perfectly good glass

I have done thisbas well, just be careful and check the syringe as well.

Switch to smaller drawing needle you wont have an issue

I've used my homebrew with floaters in it; I will always check my syringe to see if anything is there. If I catch something, I will use a filter and backload it in a new syringe, then inject it. But this usually occurs doing the final CCs left of the brew, anyway.

I don't see why any pieces of the rubber would containment the brew; if it is in the brew, which is sterilized, the rubber will also be sterilized. I think people don't understand that it is literally impossible to completely sterilize anything when even our air is not sterile. Of course this doesn't mean be lazy, but I don't even use alcohol swabs at all, for years now, and have had no issue, ever: no PIP, no infections, no nothing.

Yes it looks great nkw i refiltered. And refiltering was not as bad, as i thought. Thats the last time i reuse a vial again. I got greedy, and thought it wouldnt matter. But it indeed did. Would goijg from a 22 g to a 23 g make a huge difference? Its only 1 gauge up. And i pin with a 25, that would take a long time.

I draw with a 25 now and it really does not take that much longer. I think if I remember correctly, I drew 0.5ml tren a, and 0.3ml test c and pinned in 56 seconds or something like that

I use 21 gauge to draw and 25g to inject...thing is, these stoppers are low quality Chinese shit; next time I have to get better quality.

fo sho, only doing it cause it was a fresh vial, that had just sat for a year or so. Once there's only a couple ml's I'll toss it, but I'm not too scared to pull a little more out of it. I always check the vial in the light and make sure I can still see the stopper piece in the vial.

agreed, I think the stopper is just as sterile as the underside of the stopper that's in constant contact with the oil.

I use 25g to draw and backload 27g insulin pin. Takes no time at all buy a candle warmer and heat ur vials if your worried about time.
Think about all the worry and time wasted refiltering that coulda been saved using a smaller gauge :)
