Lets not forget though that while the white man was attacking native american villages, native americans were scalping white men and women left and right. I've yet to hear of many stories where the Iraqi civilians (comparable to native americans in this analogy) were openly attacking the Republican Guard, Uday, and Qusay on a daily basis. So, comparing what the first settlers did to a group of people(s) 250 years ago is not analogous to what saddam was doing 5 years ago.....IMO.
